    Alaska trip

    gary, i took a trip to alaska in '96 on my bike. took the marine highway from prince rupert bc. to haynes, alaska then rode north to fairbanks and pionts beyond. returned via the alcan to vancover and down the west coast. the ferry was a very interesting part of that trip. here is a link to the ferry info http://www.dot.state.ak.us/amhs/ and pm me if you need any particulars about the trip. jim

    kevin, i have this problem if my idle is set to high. lower the idle to 950 and see if the problem still exists. jim

    scott, i bought the tires in the early '70s when the first t/a came out. and yes i think the 225/70-r15 tis the metric equivalent. mike, no you can't haul it back to texas. but if you're real nice i'll let you drive it next time you're in town. jeff, thanks for the input. rick, these photos are really old and faded.     thanks dic and la for your input. scott, i'm looking to replace the tires on my 65 corvette which has spent most of it's recent life in the garage. i put bf goodrich ta radials g/70-15 on it 35 years ago. thanks, jim
