  2. Don: Hope you get over this real fast. Nothing worse than feeling down this time of year!
  3. That's a negative here Don, but it's a little early for the postman today. I will let you know as soon as they arrive. Thanks again for this.
  4. Don: Just sent paypal for three bells. Hope you still have some? Thanks John
  5. Ok Steve and Dave!!!!!!!! This one is not even close to being on the To Do list!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:no-no-no::no-no-no::no-no-no: Not even peer pressure.
  6. Dave: I sent you a pm as Dianne and I would like to meet up with you. Just need a time and place? Thanks John
  7. Don; Sorry but I can't figure out how to send the picture by PM. so I put it here. It was taken at your house in June this year.
  8. Can't say anything more than has been said.Great people and they don't deserve this. Enough is enough of this kind of news. Our prayers are with everyone involved. John & Dianne
  9. Ed: Sorry to hear this news. Our thoughts are with you. Take care and rest up for next year. John & Dianne
  10. VIN is JYAVP09254A000058 and was sold new in Australia on 04/05/2004. (That's the fourth day of May for you Yanks). So, what year model do you reckon I own? I'd like to straighten out the insurance company. Definetely NOT a 2003. It is a 2004. Many vehicles are Manufactured in the prior year to the actual Model year. For example 2008 models are all ready in production. Your 5 year warranty will expire in May of 2008, 5 yrs from the PURCHASE date. I have the same bike and it is a 2004 however I would like to correct the warranty stated above. The bike went in service May 2004 so the warranty is good till May 2009 not 2008 (5 years from on road date) I purchased mine Aug 28 2004 and the warranty runs to Aug 28 2009. Love the colour.Enjoy the bike. John P.S. Sorry about the two year warranty. I just read the post you placed at 6:44. The info I have here would be true if you had the bike here.
  11. Just to update this thread. I received a PM from Mike and everthing is ok with Tina and him. :cool10:They just have not been on line lately. Looking forward to getting together again soon.
  12. I am concerned that I have not seen or heard from Mike or Tina since the tail of the dragon ride at Vogel I have PM'D them but have no reply and it has not been read. :confused24:The last time they were on line was Sept 6 or 7. I hope everything is ok and if any one has seen or talked to them can they let me know. Thanks John
  13. I have one and it is easy to install but takes a bit of work. It has to be a clarion DC 625 or 635 and the plug for it is in the front fairing so you have to split it. I put the deck in the trunk and ran the cable to the front. Seat and tank must come off but that is not hard. It is only one cable. Good luck!
  14. Not that I care about gas mileage on a Bike and not sure why anyone would????:confused24:My cars burn in one day what my bike burns in a weekend. I was getting around 40mpg or (320km to 4.5 gal. of gas)all along but the last two tanks the gas light has been coming on sooner but I still get close to 40 mpg. Gas light used to come on around 280km but has come on at 265 last two tanks. I have been riding harder and faster so?????? I don't care if it drops to 10mpg as I will still ride.
  15. Charlie: That's pretty good considering it is 14 dgrees in Sudbury. Careful you don't make mother nature mad and she really does dump on you!

    Good video

I like the video. It may be geared to Harley but we all ride for a reason. I believe that there is no other feeling in the world when riding and that is what I took from the video. I don't care what you ride or what you wear when you ride as that is a choice that only you can make when you get on the bike.
  17. That is exactly what is missing. It is an add on and I had to drill that hole when I added the fender Rail to my bike.It is between the fender ornament and the fender top trim. It looks real good with the rail.
  18. Scott: Sorry to hear this one as Dianne and I have been thinking of you and Sherry all summer wondering about getting together. It has been real busy. Glad you are ok and I know you will fix the bike but in the meantime you will just have to be the passenger on Sherry's bike!!!!!!. Stay in touch. John
  19. Scott: You and Sherry enjoy your trip and we have got to get together before the season is out.Maybe a fall leaf ride with TFD69 and Marion? Ride safe and have fun. John
  20. So sorry to hear this news. Our condolences to you and your family. Our prayers are with you also.
  21. Thanks Bill: Great service to deliver the spacer to me so quick.I received the spacer on Thursday and put it on yesterday. It was an easy install and I can tell already that splitting the fairing to wire my GPS will be a snap now.It is well made and I would recommend this to everyone with the driving lights. John
  22. Ditto on Larry's adaptor being the perfect solution to unbalance lifting. Got mine about a month ago and don't know how I did without it. I always had to support the rear wheel with a block of wood because of where you had to put the lift,(not to damage any thing underside)If you are going to use a lift than this adaptor is a must!!!!
  23. Dianne and I are truly thinking of you and your family at this time. The pictures posted here show the love you had for each other as well as the family love from this group.God be with you at this time and we hope to meet you someday. John and Dianne
  24. They do what they do so we can do what we do.God bless them all and may they rest in peace. And may the rest return unharmed. They deserve what we take for granted. They earned it and we ride on their coat tails.
  25. Mine has started to groan when you sit on the bike. Just started 2 weeks ago and I will check to see if it is leaking but is this an indication that she's starting to go bad??
