  1. Welcome to the forum as as you already know many here either owned an Ace Tourer or have spouses that do. My brother has had one for years .many are also members of this forum and The Shadow Ace tourer forum as well. Lots of cross over. Also as you know there will be lots of good advice to make a great bike even better. Have a question and someone here will be able to answer it sooner or later. This is a great group of people from all over the world. so welcome and happy riding.
  2. Happy Birthday old friend..... and I really mean OLD!!!

    2013 Venture

Its a shame that the V Max engine like the Goldwing engine may never see double duty again. In the Valkeryie the flat six was a winner. the V4 in the venture has always woorked so well. And you"d think spread costs out amongst a second model or third would be the right way to go.
  4. Bought my sisters 85 Rebel for my 5 ft. Girlfriend. when I squeezed the brake lever there was no pressure . I opened up the reservoir and this is what I found inside . I've never seen brake fluid solidify before. luckily it hadn't gotten down into the lines or the caliper. Cleaned it out and it was good as new.
  5. Ditto that !

  18. I have an 84 Honda V65 sabre The bike has the stock pipes but the water drain hole near the bottom of the muffler has widened to about an inch over the years. I keep it treated with rustoluem but its rusting from the inside. Any way just that little bit of opening gives it a nice rumble, but too much more and I don't think I'd be enjoying it. The 86 is bone stock and i especially like the sound both over 3000rpm and as I'm coasting down from speed. Rummmmbbllyyy.
  19. My prayers are with you and your friend i hope all goes well and he has a speedy recovery.

    new project.

Thanks Miles, In fact the 750 Magna is exactly the bike I'd like to see Terri move onto,You see I have an original 84 V65 Sabre that I still ride and Love. I love the Honda V4's and I also feel the Magna750 is a powerful and great all around bike for a woman of her height. I especially like that its also a water cooled engine and I'll take a v4 over a twin every time. So thanks for the post, obviously great minds think a like. Here's some pictures of how the rebel has come so far. I also spent a few hours taking scratches out of the windshield. It cleaned up pretty good so far. Get the new battery today and hopefully start her up.
