  5. My parents used to winter down in Mesa AZ and had the Canadian Issued wheelchair sticker on the license plate and mirror hang tag in the car and never ever had an issue in the US even though it was issued in Canada. They travelled all over most of the lower 48 using the handicapped parking spots because of my fathers breathing issues and no one brought up any concerns. Brian

  9. Why not just try this in the garage? I use this chock inside my trailer. no lifting it up onto a center stand, just drive it in, back it out. There are chocks around for less if you shop around but I wanted the heavy duty one with the quick floor detach for the trailer. http://www.baxleycompanies.com/LAChock.html

  15. Just for giggles while you have some stuff out of the way. While you have the wheel and pumpkin out, check inside the rubber boot where the driveshaft goes into the back of the transmission and see if your bearing going on the middle drive assy is worn and has play and that the ujoint is lubricated and not worn. Brian
  16. "Sorry Charlie" --------But inquiring minds would like to know some specifics. youve just kinda made us curious now. Brian
  17. I think all the G1's had the same mirrors and bases. I would be interested in a sort of adapter plate base as mirrors are getting hard to find plus I would like a style that moves it out a bit wider. Brian

  22. Newfoundland and Labrador are largely rural fishing populations and have been somewhat separated from the rest of Canada by culture and the fact they are an island. The people in the urban areas of Canada sometimes see them as a backwards heavy drinking people and the butt of jokes. Any Newfs that I know are a fun loving and hardworking people that love a good joke, even at their expense. Its kinda ironic that in the last few years after being the butt of so many jokes for so many years, 2 areas of Canada that now have some of the strongest economies are Newfoundland and Saskatchewan, making it real enjoyable for us to come up with jokes about the former centers of the universe, Ontario, and Quebec....lol:cool10: Brian
  23. It worked this morning, but doesnt work now, it looks like the ad has been removed. It looked like Charlies FJR with the venturerider.org sticker on the fairing. Brian
  24. Try these guys, the Laminar lip. its an add on to your windshield to give you more height in rain, so maybe you could cut you windshield down for heat and add this on for the cool wet days. I know a couple of guys with Kawi concours that use them and they like it. http://www.laminarlip.com/venture.php I have the goldwing vent in my Clearview xxl shield and I am amazed how much it helps cool on a hot day. I also find that if i crack it open a bit on a windy day it helps with the buffetting. Brian
  25. Ahh! I understood it to mean that you could only take your hand off the throttle breifly and it would fail, i had it bass-ackwards..... Brian
