    mine died at only two months old this summer. took it back to best buy. they took it in the back room and in five minnutes came out with it working fine. they did not really tell me what was wrong with it but its been fine every since.

    i also have one on my rsv. it makes for a very comfortable ride with good back support.

    my 08 every once and a while i get static blasting from all four speakers at the same time. the only way to make it stop is to put the radio on headset real fast. waiting to take it in for my 4000 mile check. told them about it when it went in for the 600 mile check up.

    my wife and i both belong to the patroit guard. it is a great service to do for all that stand and die for this country. a great group of riders. went on a ride last sunday in white lake michigan. great ride and great lunch after. :325::325::325::325::325:

    during fouth of july weekend my wife and i were riding the eastern side of michigan from detroit to the top of the state and was dodging turkeys as well as deer. we have lots of deer in mich. i have had too many close calls. :missingtooth::missingtooth:

    i too have the same popping on my 08 with hd pipes if i up shift fast. if i shift just a little slower it does not pop. it just starting doing it about 2 weeks ago.

    I would like to ask you guys and gals for information on mounting a flag on my 08 rsv for the patroit guard. is there a special flag mount or is it a trailer hitch mount? what kind of hitch and where you purchased it would help. thanks. :325:

    i took the baffles out of mine by using a 1 1/4 hole saw with a 12in extenion.i used a 1/2 drill motor and drilled them out.

    went last night to a ikea store and picked up a sheepskin for my rsv seat.they really had a varity of sizes and hair types to choose from. i want to try to dye it bkack. has anyone had good luck trying to dye one? if so what kind of dye did you use? ikea had skins that were 32in to 35in long for$20 and skins 36in to39in long for $40. i picked one that was 38in and it was just right.

    BIG MIKE i replaced my mufflers last month with H-Ds . was a easy job to take out the baffles and with squidlys brackets went on the bike real nice. sounds like a hot rod when you take off .if you live in the macomb township aera you can check out mine if you want. john

    sunny day and 56 degrees in michigan. waited till 1:00 to take a ride when it was warm.lots of other people out riding around enjoying the great day. there saying rain the rest of the week.:cool10:

    thanks dick and carol for putting on a great m+e .nice place to meet and good food. got to meet a lot of really nice people and spend a nice afternoon having fun. hope to ride with some of those great folks this summer. sandy and i are spending a week in july riding around the bay area so if any one is free we would like the company. thanks again john +sandy:bighug:

    got my 08 in january and had it out just twice since. to day being easter sunday i have time before dinner i am going to take a ride . its only 30 outside but sunny and clear skys.i gotta do it.cant wait anymore.

    you might want to check out SIGNALDYNAMICS.COM. they have 3" 6" and 15" led lights. just put a 15" under my trunk for a run/brake light.looks great.

    checked 4 tire places and the best price i got was a catolog called competition assessories. avon venom mt90hb16 front and 150/90hb15 rear both cost $227 and free shipping!!!! i have ordered from them before and got good service.

    Need advice on changing the tires on my '08 Venture. I've seen on the website that the Avon tires seem to be the best. I would like some advice on what size and series would be best. Is it true that putting a smaller tire on the front helps with handling?

    i also have a bike pro on my trailer. it makes loading your bike alone a breeze. drive in to it and the bike stands all by itself.
