    I have a 2 sets of R/K mufflers number is 65546-98A Are these off a 98 R/K or not..

    Was wondering what the avarage mpg for Ventures was?I went from Baltimore to Brooklyn,Ny. yesterday and got 42.6 mpg.It was a spirited ride on the way running up to 75 or so.We got passed like we were standing still!On the way back traffic was terrible.Bumper to bumper 3/4 of the way home.Motor wise bike is all stock execpt for R/K mufflers and pilot srews turned out 1/4 of a turn.Not sure if this is the right forum for this question :think:I,m sure some have input though.

    Hi Guys and Gals, I have recently purchased some R/K mufflers. They look almost like the Ventures. However, although I have seen several people talking about modifying them, i'm not quite sure what they mean about stage 1,2,3,&4 modifications. I do better with pictures than words. On the mufflers I got, I am able to look directly through the center and see what is on the other side. There are baffles in them that I can see, but I can still look through the center of them. My question is how do I know what stage they are, and what can I do to modify them for more sound. Thanks, Big Mike:15_8_211[1]:

    Ok, I have a set of R/K slash cut slip-ons, some one on here wrote about drilling out the front baffel.... question is what did you use to drill it out? it is about a foot down in the pipe... Help please!! I don`t mean to beat a dead Horse, as I know it is probably posted on here some place.. Thanks for any help! K
