    My wife and I were there. Had a great time. Saw a lot of Ventures there. We were there Saturday afternoon, checked out all the vendors. Had to leave early Sunday to go to Grand Rapids to meet future son-in-law's family. Then a 4 hr. ride home. Beautiful weather for the weekend!!! Never saw so many bkes in one place. Can't imagine what the airport looked like with everyone in one place. Maybe we will make a repeat appearance next year.

    My self and another couple are leaving se michigan on friday the18th around 9 or 10 in the morning and not taking 75 or the ohio turnpike. So if there is anyone who wants to get togeather just let me know. The more the merrier.

    That was $6.99 for each one. I bought a few of each because there so hard to find. I think i am good for a few years. I really like the system. :sun:

    The only place i found soap and filters is K-mart for $6.99 for the 20oz soap and 10 wash filters. What is that borax mix?

    Last week i was at my ACO hardware store and was they had the hole package with starter soap and filter for just $5.00 each. I all ready have one but for that price i bought four more because the soap and filters are hare to find.

    My wife rides with my over half the time the bike is on the road. Weve been all over the state of michigan, been to the Honda Hoot twice, and do many charity rides all summer long. All of use have had close calls, you just have to as careful as you can.My wife hates riding on the main freeways so we take A lot of back roads when we can. I do what makes her happy, it makes the day more injoyable.

    I just called Comfort Inn and got the discount also. Looks like well have some fun at the Inn also!!!! :clap2:

    I believe that I read some where here that a pinstriper was going to be at maintenance day this year so i was wondering if any body had any info or a web site?

    Just called and talked to Oberlin inn and we are cancelled also due to road work around the hotel. So i called the comfort inn in Elyria and booked a room there, they still have rooms left. I booked friday and saturday nites. Hope to see some of the group there.

    I just called the Oberlin inn and got a room for my wife and I. So i gess we will be seeing everybody there.

    I am trying to find a good clean holtel to stay at for maintenance day. Found Comfort inn in Elyria. Sounds ok but as anybody ever stayed there? Does anybody have any suggestions for a nice clean place?

    I was born and raised there. I lived there for 21 years before getting out. It's not the best place to be walking around, day or night. Detroit does have some nice things to do and see there, you just have to be careful. Good waleye fishing in the river!!!!

    Since i just put avons on my rsv I needed to now the correct tire pressure so this morning i emailed Avon with my info about riding two up and a total weight of 350lbs and they told me 38lb front and 45lb in the rear cold. Im still confessed but I would think Avon knows what there talking about.

    This year my wife and I are going in the afternoon around 3 or 4 to see if its not as crowed as geting there when it opens. We have alway gone early and dealt with the big crowds. We will be at the venture display so maybe we will see some members there. It's always a good time.

    My wife and i are going Saturday but we are going to dinner first some where right there and then going to the show.

    Just picked one up myself a couple of months ago. Mine was in great shape but will not idle good. From what i've been told the carbs are always an issue. Its a fun bike to with lots of power. For some good info go to xjbikes.com. You will enjoy riding the bike as much as your girlfriend.

    Right now i'm 591/2 but still feel a lot younger, dont look younger but feel pretty good. Age is only a number anywhy!!!

    How many miles did you have on it before it went out on you? I wonder if all the fuel pumps go's out about the same mileage? I had one go out on a Honda that i had befor the rsv. It went out a little over 9,000 miles. The dealer said he seen it befor about that many miles.

    While your in Townsend check out the Tuckalechee Caverns if you like checking out caves. It's not too fancy but a real nice tour. If you want a really cool ride take rt. 321 out of Townsend toward pigeon Forge. We toured that aera on one of our Honda Hoot visits, its a really nice place to ride.
