  1. I got headsets for my wife and myself, hoping to have meaningful conversation on a trip, The only thing she has ever said over the headset is.....SLOW DOWN...WATCH OUT FOR THAT CORNER...SLOW DOWN.....WATCH OUT FOR THAT CAR....SLOW DOWN....WATCH OUT...SLOW DOWN....Now I don;t use the headsets...only when I am riding alone, in the winter, with my modular helmet...

  4. I mounted one on the inside of the left airbox. You can't see it, but you can feel for it....
  5. It is made very well. I do agree with the others above about not loading it to heavily, but, you can sure cram a lot of liitle items into it that otherwise get lost in your trunk. It also has a keyholder on it so you don.t have to dig deep to find your house keys...
  6. This is the only place I have found that sells them. Installed mine last week.
  7. Plastic is really expensive..............
  8. I will be setting up a Meet and Eat in Cookeville, Tn. in the late spring...
  9. Your levers should be set so that your fingers rest on them with your palm on the grip and your fingers extended straight out. I think you will find that this does make a difference...
  10. I wanna see the people in Key West when it gets down to 54 degrees tomorrow. Here, when I got off work, it was 7 degrees w/wind chill. Supposed to be 20 degrees on saturday...Think I'll take a ride...
  11. All I want is for $1,000,000.00 to appear in the trunk overnight. Then my bike will be the way I want it.........
  12. I really like the looks of the Voyager. In fact, I like everything about it. But, when I opened the trunk lid and the bags...UHOH. Lots of flex, bending and twisting. These things are really thin. Will they hold up after a few years? I don't think so...
  13. Sounds like it's time to take it to the dealer for warranty work....
  14. It is such an honor to be a member of the PGR. I would really like to confront someone from the Westboro church.....
  15. Uuuuhmmm, My clutch lever and kickstand are on the left !!!!!!
  16. This just proves how many idiots there are today. Let someone tell me I can't have a flag on a flagpole, which I do, and I will show them the working end of my gun to get them off my property. If it offends them, they can move to another country. If they don't support the American flag, they need to be run out of this country.....
  17. Leatherup.com has some great buys on jackets and chaps right now....
  18. Just have your wife join the PGR too. You do not have to be a veteran to join....
  19. And where do you buy this stuff. I have never heard of it?????
  20. George, how did you get the backing plate to match your dash????
  21. Every now and then I see someone mention about how to make your tires look good. Well, DO NOT use Armorall or anything resembling it, because that can cause major problems when leaning in a curve. Now, back in the OLD DAYS... We didn't have any of the fancy stuff they have now. What we used was 'sugar water'... Just mix a cup of sugar in a quart of warm water, stir ir until it disolves. Then take a rag and soak it with the water, ring it out slightly, and rub the tire with it. Your tire will look better than brand new after it dries. Now, I don't know how many bees it will attract, it depends on where you live....
  22. HOOAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. The same thing happened to me. I got it out the old fashioned way. A hammer and chisel. Didn't need all them fancy tools either....
  24. Yup, you gotta take everything apart to get to the screw and then you have to be careful on how much you tighten it. If to tight, it won't swing back up to reinstall everything. Just keep playing with it and you will get it right....
  25. Ran the Natchez Trace from Columbia to Nashville on Sunday. Saw 4, 2nd Gen Ventures. Anyone from this site??? They were all heading south...
