    To remove the inner seal, use a brass drift pin to slowly punch it out. Make sure that it is on the outer race of the bearing. Do not just tap on one side. Slowly rotate the drift pin around the bearing to get the seal out about the same distance as you go around it. Repack both bearings. Fill the hub with grease,, install, and put grease in the end cap. Grease heats up and melts as it gets hot. Filling the hub and and end cap help stop all the hot grease from going into the empty hub....

    I live in Alabama, but was born and raised in NH. This is the only way to get here from there without any problems. If you take I95,,,Good Luck.. Before I81 was built, I used to go to Cleveland and then the New York Thruway. Watch out for state troopes in Virginia.

    The purpose of doing this is so the bearings make metal to metal contact to the race. If you do not do this, then you will get some slop in the bearing due to the grease filling the void when metal should be touching metal. Then, when the grease and bearings get warm, the grease melts away giving you looseness in the bearing that you really do not want.....Thank you.....

    The Utopia mounts to the frame, the Diamond-R mounts to the rear fender. I have the Utopia. All you have to do is enlarge 2 holes in plastic so the bolts go through. It is at most, a 10 minute job.

    Greyfox and I were going to my Cookeville, Tn M+E. We had stopped for gas, and a guy says to me....Is that a Harley??? I replied no, it is made by Yamaha. He said it was a great looking bike. Greyfox was parked right beside me...His bike,,A 2007 Ultra Classic.. The guy never said a thing about his bike....Of course a Ultra Classic does look cute next to a Venture...They're so tiny.....With that itty bittty motor..........

    Most compressors take more oil to originally fill them than the amount that comes with ithem I bought a new compressor, and had to buy additional oil to fill it. Check the manual to see how much it holds...

    Will the seats be made so you can still use a Utopia or Diamond-R backrest??? It is a sharp looking seat and cheaper than a Russell Daylong....
