  3. Kit and all who may be in SC Ya'll don't know me from anybody----but I can tell ya if you do get the chance to meet ol Hugbare--,do it. You will be blessed! Only thing is if you go on a ride with him --------- Do not follow him!! he has been known to lead some folks down the wrong road on occasion:rotf::rotf::stirthepot::):bighug:As long as you heed the warnings he is a great guy! Even if he did desert us here in Ga.
  4. ECK get in touch with Venturedad. His reciver style hitch takes about 15 min to instal and works great on the 2nd gen. Mine was around the $100.00 range since i only got the hitch. I got my ball and reciever part from Autozone for obvious reasons. Good luck.! Craig
  5. I was in a local indy shop today and he has a 2006 Bushtec trailer for sale. Less than a 100 miles pulled. He is asking $3000. for it and if anyone is intrested I can give you his phone number. It is white-has the front bra-and covered cooler mounted on it. Looks good. I have no intrest other then letting ya'll know of a good deal.
  6. Looks good Brad,I'm gonna make one myself b4 spring. One of my brothers got Dad's welder and we are gonna fab one up. For those trips when I don't wanna pull the trailer but need just a bit more room!
  7. Congrats to you mini! Jeff she may just like the voyager kit and want to keep it on after she gets it. It will be sharp fer sure!
  8. Well....I don't know if that will happen real soon, as they live in Houston Texas........... Did I also say that my real Mother is there too! ------------------------------------------------------------------- Sounds like a good excuse to do a Texas hill country ride next year.
  9. check with RickH also at buckeye performance. He could probly help you out.
  10. I just was in chat and ya'll wernt there
  11. I ride a 99 RSV with an "Angel" theme. Custom paintjob to honor the Guardian Angel that has been watching over my wife and I for many years. If not for the angels we would not be here.
  12. Don't have a 07 but you can use "Angel" :rotf: No problem!
  13. if i here " we need the rain " down here one more time , i am gonna choke somebody Well you know when the lakes start drying up because the "Corps" is having to release the water so the "mussels" in Fl. have enough water something is bad wrong with this picture.:stirthepot: But other than this I agree with Randy it has been a great summer. Now it is beginning to be a great fall riding season. I like to ride when I ain't sweating better than when I am.
  14. A cuppla my buddies I ride with a lot have the modulators. They bothswear by em,- I have flashing brake lights that are very bright led's but I personally am not real sure about the headlight modulator. As Jeff said this is one way that truckers signel others that it's clear or to pull out or pull over after passing. They use their headlights. But as one point has also been made-since the onslought of DTR lights on so many cars today for "safety" a lot of people just don't pay much attention to headlights anymore. It seems that as things become more common place people just get used to em and so they aren't as effective. I think that most states now have the light on when raining laws-but most cars already have em on already. I don't even turn my headlights on at all anymore cause just like my bike--my trucks headlights are on with the switch. Bottom line --if you feel better running a modulator-help yo self. If you hate em-don't run one! But always remember to ride like you are invisible---because to some folks you are! Craig
  15. I am also just completly blown away by this news. Prayers for Gary, and the entire family will be going up also from the Long's household. :bighug:To the family . May God wrap his arms around ya'll in just this manner.! Craig and Patsy Long
  16. Prayer from Ga. Please keep us informed. Craig and Patsy
  17. Breaker breaker 1-9 Kid Dynamite here headin out from n.Ga.to the ol Lone star state. Are they runnin the chikin coop? Man do I remember them days! I could not drive now like I did then. I would leave Ga. on Sun. afternoon and deliver to Corsicana Tx. Monday morning. Catch a few winks while waiting to unload-then boogy back to Ga.Of course I was 20 somethin and crazy then.
  18. :cool10:Wooohooo black leather bra and big headlight! What a combo!
  19. YES Yes Yes I had a 1st 83 Venture Royale. I could not get real comfy on it due to being 6'6" my knees would hit the fixed fairing and my legs would cramp on long trips from the downward position of the pegs. From the 1st time I saw a RSV I was in love. Then I rode one and I had to have it.. I bought Angel with 13000 miles on her in 01 and have had many miles of smiles since. The only thing I have done is change clutch under warrenty and service regularly. Sinc ewe know it will be at least another year b4 any changes might be made I'll just keep riding Angel. If MAMAYAMA came out with FI next yr. I would try to find me an 08 to buy. Why? To give em 5 yrs. to work out any bugs in it,while I rode wory free for 5 more warrentied years. But yes I will buy another RSV when I get the new fever.
  20. You too have a taker on that one Tartan Terror.Let me know how much to ship to 30103!
  21. Brad, Patsy and I will be keeping Rhonda in our prayers as well for her speedy recovery.
  22. And lasts about 2 weeks:rotf::rotf::rotf: Gonna be in the high 70's in Ga by Sunday.woooohoooo
  23. I agree with the positives. The naysayers might look a lot closer at what we are getting for the money versus what HD,Honda,or anyone else gives. For the 8to 12 thousand more that you would give for another brand of bike you still don't get the 5 yr warrenty. Color? For 2 to 4 thousand you could have a custome paint job put on it and have your own favorite color! Sorry but the grumpy oldman complain about every thing gets old. I'm riding one of the best bargains in touring bikes on the market today. Is it the fastest? No,but I ain't out to set no speed records,I'm in for the comfort, and the great way I feel when a stranger walks up and tells me how beautiful my bike is. Climbing down now:soapbox:
  24. Sarge said: I will bring it with me and let you play with it Brad! Ohhhbeverycareful letting Squidly play withit. /He likes to drill it out big!:rotf: HEE HEE Craig
  25. Condor, When I had Sarge's trailer here I checked the size also so KJV4 could get one for his. I have a blue Gott 48 that fits perfectly. The one in Sarges was a Rubbermaid and it had a little room around it. Just a side note--BradT and all who run with a cooler. If you turn the cooler around so it opens up from the back you don't have to worry about the wind getting under the lid and trying to open it going down the road.
