  1. Great news Brad, I was beginning to wonder (ok, worry) a little about what was happening. Sure glad it went well. Say hello to Lonna for Marilyn and I.
  2. I gotta go with copper brown and birch brown. Are there metalic flakes in the darker to make it coppery up close or when the sun hits it a certain way? Birch like the tree....man thats tough really. One thing though....its a nice color combo.
  3. Thats real cool....I would swap you time in my place for yours right now.....only minus 30 celsius here right now! Whaddya say?
  4. I like that look of the towpac! And you're riding Mark...thats all that matters. That day will likely come for most of us if we want to continue to enjoy the wind. Me, I would suck it up and get the big chrome wheeled version...thats sharp!
  5. Man...thats just cruel! Now I am in need of therapy! And I cant get the therapy I need! Only 4 more months to riding season!
  6. I have had a 83 and still have a 89. Speed agility was real good with the 83...then again I was at least 70lbs lighter! The 89 has enough (same horsepower isnt it?) and bigger bags which I really liked. Gotta say its the 86 and up. I would still ride it if the riding position didnt get to me as I got older. But thats me... What ever I have in the future will have the riding position like my current 2nd gen. Truly though...if I could have both...one 89 for running around town and short trips and the rsv for the longer trips I would be in my glory. I just cannot afford the insurance for both and thats a straight fact in this province. As it is now for all our vehicles trailers campers we are paying over 5 grand for insurance a year. You can see my point. And thats a differant thread!
  7. Now thats a nice little trailer! How much was it with all the trim you have?
  8. Hmmm....now who are we gonna mooch off of when we head down that way!
  9. Hey Brad....good luck finding one...cause didnt you steal the last one!? But then again, I got a darn good deal on mine. Seriously, do you mine if we "poke" around and send leads to you?
  10. And either handlbar risers or flanders bars for the reach thing.
  11. I believe 87 was the last year for the standard, all after should be royals.
  12. Wow that is something...and a good thing it didnt happen here...you would still be waiting for surgery! Always glad to hear of a good outcome to a potentionally bad situation!
  13. We have to pass on this too...but we will see them next month in Vegas! We'll see you later this spring Owl when we come down for my trailer.
  14. All the best Lynbiker...it sounds like he was a good friend as well as a good friend to bikers. All the best to the family.
  15. More good news...thanks a bunch!
  16. OhOhOh dont forget the binder twine!! That seat looks good though....guy could use that...didnt see any brown marks or pucker dimples in it all! All in all...a fixer upper....naw...use the insurance and get something newer. Can you take off the add ons..you wont get anything for them I dont think. And last but not least...the best pic of all is seeing both of you standing there looking at the beast and not other people standing there looking at you...if you know what I mean.
  17. We would die for a house like that! What a beautiful thing.
  18. That should be a great trip! I would however, take a jacket...sometimes it can get cool along any body of water....and you got one great big one surrounding the place! Specially in the evening. Man I want to ride there one day.
  19. Mine moans as well...then again if you saw the size of my butt you'd moan too when I sat on ya!
  20. Pretty sure he said he only has one Brad! Dont ya need 4...one for each corner of the bike!
  21. My little girl (almost 11) has been riding for a couple years now. On my first gen I put on arm rests because she is notorious for falling asleep just as we get to the end of the street! She loves to be with us on the bikes but armrests are a must with her. I got Marilyn a set of armrests for her vstar that come off very easy when the kids arent riding. Our son (almost 15) thinks its ok to ride but is not near as excited about it as his sister. He never falls asleep but does get bored. Intercom is nice. If we can make it to Kitchner/Waterloo this summer we plan on bringing the kids. This may be interesting!
  22. I hear ya Cindi! They are scary and we get more than ever up here than ever before.
  23. That was a long fight! Sure glad it worked out the way it should have. It never should have got that far....what a bunch of doodles!
  24. Good news so far except for the neices. Hope not much was damaged there Boo. Good thing they got a talented uncle nearby! What crazy weather eh!
  25. Dang I was just reading bout some tornados already down south. I know for sure Boo is in the area that one or two touched down along the Ill Wis border. Boo,Jane are you guys ok? Any body else....hope you are all ok! This is early to be chatting about these things!
