I too have the piggy. Mine is the xl. The thing is a good item, the company support is really good. To me the extra 200 is worth it for the xl. We sure packed alot of stuff in that thing for our trip to Colorado. Tent, bags, clothing, chairs, stove, dining shelter, extra jackets, air mattress, bedding. Pulled great.

Can I be the first to laugh with you! Thats a good one to share. Mostly we tow our bikes because we left the kill switch off! Thanks for the lesson...really I learned something of the maintainance of the locks anyway.

I would welcome you Dan. But, if you are like me, the testing now is so arduous that it is unlikely that I would get hired these days! They are trying to get rid of us dinosaurs! But the pay is good!

Wow...that is some list! Thanks a bunch! Lowell...how far is Death Valley? If the truth be known, I would rather travel around the area than visit differant casino's. But we must do a show or two as well. I can see no sleep in our future whilst there!

Hi We are finalizing things to do in the short time we are there. Marilyn heard about a place (mall?) that sells discount brand name things. Does anyone know which I'm talking about? If so, could let us know the name of the place and possibly the location. We are going to the Canyon on the 14th....still trying to decide whether to rent a car or take one of the tours listed. See ya later hopefully!

So sorry that some feel the way they do about Canada. Here is a cut and pasted portion from the Canadian Border Services site. Why some people cannot enter or remain in Canada People can be denied a visa, refused admission or removed from Canada for a number of reasons. Security They have engaged in, or there are reasonable grounds to believe they will engage in, spying, subversion or terrorism, or they belong to organizations that have engaged in, or will engage in, these activities. Human or international rights violations They have committed war crimes or crimes against humanity. They are or were senior members or officials of a government that has committed acts of terrorism, major human rights violations, genocide, war crimes or crimes against humanity. Serious criminality They have, or there are reasonable grounds to believe they have, committed a crime punishable by a maximum of 10 years of incarceration. Other criminality They have, or there are reasonable grounds to believe they have, committed an indictable crime. They commit an offence such as possessing or importing narcotics, while seeking entry to Canada. Organized crime They belong to an organization that is believed to take part in organized criminal activity or to engage in transnational crimes such as people smuggling, trafficking in people or money laundering. Health They may be a danger to public health or cause excessive demands on Canada's health or social services. Financial They are unable or unwilling to support themselves and their dependants. Misrepresentation They provide officers with false information or withhold information that is directly relevant to a decision under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA). Non-compliance They contravene the requirements of IRPA. Some examples include the following: not having a valid passport or visa; entering as visitors and remaining longer than authorized; trying to re-enter without the written permission of the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, after being deported; working or attending school without the appropriate permit; and breaching conditions imposed when they were first admitted to Canada. Inadmissible family members They are the family members of someone who is inadmissible. In addition, permanent residents are in breach of IRPA if they fail to meet the residency obligations set out in the Act. Permanent residents who are inadmissible for this reason may be issued removal orders. Date Modified: 2007-01-26 http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/images/common/tphp.gif Top of Page

Good going Courtney! Some famous American once said..."Buy land...they dont make it anymore". Real good advice there. Being a home owner is the best investment to make, thats my opinion anyway!

You could also go to ebay and type in tomtom gps. I've seen many listed there. I think I may be getting something along this line for my BD!

Law enforcement can't win. Chase a bad guy in a car and they crash into innocents then they should have not chased him/her. Dont persue and suspect robs/kills/rapes then they should have caught the suspect no matter what. Shoot someone and it turns out they waved a cell phone, next time hesitate and you or your partner gets shot. Tazer is used more and more easily...that may be a concern. We are trained at "corrections" to follow a route of use of force. officer presence verbals commands soft hand techniques hard hand less lethal ex: pepper spray/tazer water hose lethal A guy with a knife can stab you before you can draw your gun if he is within 21 feet. Seems like a far enough distance...doesnt it. My cop friends often say....better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6. Bad state we work in some days that get to having to think like that...but it is a reality. The bad guy doesnt care and officers have to make a descisions that can affect their life forever as well as others. Not an easy way to make a living. I hope the truth comes out of this one and if the officers were wrong then discipline them and train the others so the mistake is not made again.

Advice needed for intercom
sarges46 replied to dharnie's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
First, what was the after market one you used? I am looking for something for my wifes vstar and cant afford the best. Second get your headsets from wingstuff, or sierra electronics. If you are in Canada the shipping will kill you from wingstuff though. Wingstuff has headsets for around 60 bucks each and they are fine. There are more choices of headsets from sierra though, both sell J+M brand. -
Now I am confused. Our site lists 87 in those colors but the color chart shown by 86er shows the matching color as an 86 color code on page 23.
