I have been battling the flu or something like it for over 2 weeks, family was sick, half the people at work were sick,I went to the Dr. on Friday and he said I was on the verge of pnuemonia. Then we had a fantastic weather weekend for riding and Im stuck:bang head: indoors coughing my head off, running fever, headaches, cant sleep laying down. I finally was able to sleep in my bed last nite for the first time in 3 days.......because every time I would lay down I would start coughing my head off. Cough syurp helped some but not enough. I am still home today from work, luckily I only missed 2 days with it, and hopefully back to work tomorrow. Wont be riding this week either rain forecast for most of the week.......So goes life.

Buddy good luck with you trade..........I just looked at your pics and that is one sweet looking ride.........I just wish everyone could keep their bikes.......For me riding and my grandkids and family is about all I have to look forward to, and if I didnt have them I would really have nothing to keep me young...............sometimes my body doesnt agree but my mind is easy to trick.......

Our motorcycle ministry helped out with a party at a retirement home a few years ago and 1 older gentleman of about 80 years young said he had never been on a m/c before and asked if someone would take him for a ride............his family said ok and we took him for a 2 mile ride on the back of Wingman's G/W. We decked him out in a vest, do-rag and helmet with intercom..........Jamie said all he kept saying is "This is wonderful" over and over...........His son said he had never seen his father happier............He still talks about it whenever I go there and happen to see him .......... Old folks can have fun too............

Well you know what they say, there are two types of bikers, those that have dropped their bike:bang head:, and those that are going to drop their bike.............and when you do drop it, there is a fine we have to pay for it, we kick $5.00 into the donation button:mo money: at the top of the page, it goes to help Freebird with the upkeep on the site........you will find out that quite a few have done the same thing.....

Another fantastic member has stepped up and donated a couple of items for auction. These are going to be collectors items if they arent already. These are brand new, 2nd and 3rd printing, never out of the bag. I will be listing each one in its own auction, so if your a comic book collector you might want to add these to your collection. The donor is to remain unknown by request. So "unkown", thank you very very much for helping the Kids at St.Jude Children's Hospital.........

I cant believe how often this is happening...........I am griping about our 401K's taking a big hit, I should be thanking God that I still have a job.........for how long I dont know but so far we have had only 3 people let go at our shop and 2 were office workers. Dan I hate to see that your RSV is gone, and I wish you and Lina all the luck in the world landing other jobs. And like Don I hope you and Lina can make it to all the events, cause like Don said , they wouldnt be the same without you..............Hang tough friend.

Squidley has posted a seat for a 1st gen in the St.Jude auction section...it originally came off an 87, and I do believe it will fit all the first gens..........someone correct me if I am wrong.......So if you need a good seat for your 1st gen, check out the St. Jude auctions in the classifieds. Many thanks to Brad for helping out with this cause.

Congratulations to the both of you............Now I dont have to worry about being blamed...............for supplying the romantic atmosphere for you guys.....(Vogel), and speaking of Vogel, I hope this doesnt put a damper on coming this year, if Leslie cant ride, maybe your son might have a chance of making it if she lets you guys escape for a while. I dont think riding would be good for Leslie at that stage.........When is the big day?

We have a great time there, you get to meet lot of Ventureriders and put faces with names, and all the roads in the area are fantastic.
