    Actually the order was. Potato Creek, Tail of the Dragon Eureka Springs Intl.@ Colorado Springs and so on.

    The Tail of the Dragon/Vogel registration is now available in the rally section in the post detailing the event. Please try to have your registrations to me no later than July 15, 2009. I will also post it here for easy reference.

    There have been quite a few, This is the 3rd year for the International, this years Tail of the Dragon/Vogel will be the 4th, I think there were 2 at Potato Creek.......1 in Ashville......not rallies in the real sense like Honda Hoot, just glorified meets and eats that last for 3-4 days with plenty of riding and plenty of BS and lot of eating and DQ!!!

    He is paying if forward for the time I had to go out and meet him when he had a flat coming to my house..............but he would have done it anyway.....Jeff is good about being there when you need him, and there are a bunch of us here that can attest to that............I have lost count of how many people Jeff has helped besides me............

    Never thought I would hear those words come out of his mouth............Yammer, remember, they arent as fast :bang head:as our 1st Gens.........and also.........1st Gens Rule..........just keep repeating that everytime you start thinking 2nd Gen.

    I do want to make it over your way one day, but I have to stick fairly close to home, dont:bang head: have a lot of vacation time, will get 3 weeks starting next year, I hope. I have to remember the breakfast too..........

    Go for it, my dream house would also be a log home, but it wont happen for me, we want to get rid of what we have now, but the market being what it is.........aint gonna happen soon here. GO for it, I signed on the dotted line at 50 for this house, and dont regret it...........just wish it would have been my dream home. Good luck with whatever you do. And dont:no-no-no: forget the pics if you take the plunge............

    It doesnt take long to get "addicted" to this site, so give them 6 month trial period, get em hooked and then they will pay to feed their addiction.............:2cents:

    Mine has had a big washer since day one..........the plastic was cracked so I put a new piece of plastic in with 2 part epoxy, and just for good measure glued the big washer to the top of it.........aint gonna happen to me.............No sir.............I hate when parts start falling of like them other bikes do........wont mention HD........nope, not bashing, just the facts mam, just the facts.:stirthepot:

    Thanks Steve, that was a much sought after item last Vogel. Appreicate the donation....... Great idea Eck, sorta like the t shirt swap that Muffinman did at the last Vogel........... You guys come up with some great ideas........what a group.

    I have been leaning that way, but I am going to try to get this thing going as best I can. I really like to make it better every year, but that gets tougher with each passing event. Next year, I may do just as you suggest, that would be much easier on me especially. Hope your surgery goes well, Charlene and I will keep you in our prayers for a successful surgery, my dad had both eyes done in his 70's and saw better after than he had for years.......

    Just so long as you dont try to race a 1st gen, especially the 83, they are the fastest of all the Ventures..............but you will find out on your own, I am sure................ As some one once said......1st Gens Rule...!!!!!

    Ok, I think I might need a little help here, with the economy the way it is, I think attendance will be down from previous years, which wont surprise me. But also I think auction items and door prizes will not be as plentiful as they were at previous Vogel's. I am hoping some of our members might be able to help me out in this departmemt, if you know a local vendor that might be willing to donate something for the raffles or the door prizes, or maybe your company could donate something, it doesnt have to be motorcycle related, any small item will do, everyone loves to go away with something regardless of value or size. Many members here have been very helpful in this department for past Vogels and it is much appreciated. If you dont want to approach them, just send me a pm with the name of the company and email address, I will be glad to email them and make the request. Thanks in advance, this group is the greatest group of family on the web.

    Don, dont worry about the minor details, they will still be here when you are feeling better, the mods can handle everything else in your absence......take a break, and concentrate on you.......... Everything here is minor compared to what you are up against. God Bless Lewis & Charlene
