Fantastic looking paint job.........given me some ideas for mine, it will be ready for paint soon.........I really like the way he replaced the pinstripes with wide stripes.........Very Cool..........Congrats...

If Charlene comes with me, No, she still cant ride, but if I am flying solo, I will be on it.........Now that that job is finished, I can get back to the 1st Gen, and have it ready for Vogel,and if Jamie can get a trailer big enuff we will be bringing all 4 bike up on a that, so I can show off both.............

You are right on, I have many friends I ride with that belong to Hog, and since I knew them when they rode something else or nothing at all, they are still friends to me, I get a lot of ribbing from them, but they even comment about the HD riders that dont wave to anyone but another HD. To most the HD is a status symbol and thats it........trailer queens a lot of them. I dont care what anyone rides, the fact that they ride makes them part of our brotherhood. And yes I would still stop and help them if they are parked on the side with a problem, cause thats the right thing to do.

In reading all the posts concerning the "Fee", the posts have gone through the roof, there are almost 5200 on that thread alone, and of all the posts I read, I didnt recognize half of the names, it just shows you how people will respond to family in need. I am proud to be a member of this group, and a friend of Freebird's. This place is gonna be even better than it was before. And about those post counts, when I read it the first time about 3 hours earlier the count was at about 4600............... Thanks again Don..........this place is priceless and no fee regardless how high:mo money: could drive me off, I would even sell one or both of my bikes to pay the dues if I had to.

Dan answer to your question, backside is open, I will have to fab some mounts for my sat radio, cb and small amp. Bill, it works really well, I still need to adjust it up and back further to raise the wind screen up some more, that will be easy, the hard part was getting it mounted, as you see it took 4 of us to do it, but we couldnt have done it without Eck.........he weilds a good hammer, he never left a mark on it..............Thanks also to Wingman, and 86er for their help. Todd I found that missing beer, rather Charlene did..........so I still got 4 to kill. As soon as I get it tweaked and where I want it, I will post more pics.......but I am really happy with it right now, its just gonna get better.

Back in Newnan safe and sound, had a great breakfast, then ride to the Micro Car Museum in Madison in Ga. This is a fantastic place to visit, saw tiny little cars I had never seen or heard of before. I dont remember half of the names of the folks that showed, but we had a great time. Terry will be posting the names of the attendees later I am sure. As usual Terry did an excellent job of planning this day and it was awesome. We rode then ate, then we rode some more, then we looked at cars, then we ate again, and then we rode home.........thats what its all about Eat to Ride and Ride to Eat.............. A few pics here. I will post all of them in Photobucket and put the link here.

Well finally got the Batwing fairing installed on the V Star, it only took a few hours to do, but it took, a door fabricator, a substitute school teacher, a Fed Ex driver and a rocket scientist.......so wasnt to tough............and we also rewired this weird looking trailer so the rocket scientist could get it home from here. New pics added, removed the fairing to adjust the brackets and paint, fairing is now reinstalled with everything,w/s, lowers, and fork lowers...........Its finished.........:dancefool: I guess I can call it Midnite now................

I have an 83 Venture, but my second bike is a V Star 1300 Tour, I am in the process of installing a batwing fairing, replacing the stock windshield. Its a great bike there are a few here that have one and we love it........check it out you wont be dissapointed.

With everything thats been happening with our members and some of my friends lately, I am questioning life, or what I have left of it.........nothing drastic going on here, but it sure does make you think about the future.........so.......I think I am gonna start on my "bucket list". I have done a lot and seen a lot, but there are still lots of things I want to see and do........

So they can give it to all those idiots who run major corporations into the ground and then get big gigantic bonuses for doing so, with our hard earned money..........I think not:no-no-no:...................what they did put my retirement off till 2013 or 14:bang head:..........That Sucks..............considering I was planning or retiring in just 2 1/2 years.
