Yo, does anyone know of any VR meets, MD's, or gatherings of anykind, anywhere in the next few weeks or month????? I am tired of sitting around, and want to go out riding a distance. Rather than simply going riding in my local area for the day, I always need a purpose and a destination. Otherwise I just sit home...typing on this forum. So, the best way to shut me up...typing wise...is to tell me there is a ride happening, a maintenance day happening, a nice dinner happening, and it is...1000 or more miles away. I leave in about 7 weeks to ride down to Bolivia, but I need something before then. Help?????

well folks, its time to start pushing my 1rst rally of the year. check it out under regional rides and rallies. i have listed the host motel and backup motel along with the dates in june 2012. i put on alot of great meets and this will be one not to miss.hope to see a bunch there. it is located in the middle of missouri, on i-70. see you there.

Im in North East Missouri and have a great interest in making some trips to rallys, or whatever that the wife and I can enjoy. Where are these meets located at? How can I keep up with them. Hopeing to find events within a few hundred miles.

Well heading up to NY tomorrow. Have some stuff to drop off for my niece for Christmas, so I'm taking David with me. It's about time he meets the family. Since he is kind of my 2nd husband now. I'll be back around thursday or friday. Margaret

I was asked to start a poll per this quote from ReinyRooser: "to get a handle on how many people would actually be interested in purchasing. I realize it's hard to say without knowing the final price but we need some sort of number si the question is this: IF we can get them at a price that beats anyone else, who's seriously interested? Whatever price I eventually get would be in Canadian dollars. Obviously that price will NOT include shipping, but I'm guessing we can work out something in the shipping....between me getting them to the US and then perhaps delivery through meets & greets or something." -
You know how you go to swap meets and there is nothing but Harley Parts. I had a thought that it might be interesting to organize some regional swap meets where we could get together to buy, sell and trade Venture parts. Maybe they could be organized around well attended meet & eats and maybe held on a quarterly or bi-annually basis. I just throwing out a feeler to see how much if any interest there would be. My selfish motivation is that I have a lot of 1st Gen parts I'd to sell or trade. What do you think?

Just wondering if there might be an interest in a Venture meet sometime in the Spring of 2009? I'm thinking around the Harrisonburg Va. Charlottesville Va area. Some beautiful day rides in the area in the mountains in Va and WVA. I'd be willing to try and locate a hotel that would give us a decent price if there is enough interest. I'm not trying to replace the meets already held on here, just trying to put together one I can actually attend. If you've never been to this part of the country it's truly a gorgeous place.

Despite 26 degree temp.....Took delivery of my RSV this morning; did my pre-ride checks of the bike; and hit the road. Put 350 miles on her today and it was a sweet ride I tell ya! I am very impressed with the handling and power of this RSV. It meets all of my expectations and then some. Now I get to spend the next 2 months cussing our Winter weather here and doing the "wax on-wax off" routine with the bike. C'mon Spring...... Ride safe all......Regards....Boomer

OK folks...if you look at my avatar and other information on this post, you will see a note that says "VenturRider Meets Attended". I received a request from Jeff and Beer30 asking if I could add something like the "Awards" system to show how many eat and meets, rallies, maintenance days, etc. that a member has attended. This is a far cry from what they asked for but is the best I can do at this moment. I will try, in the future, to come up with something closer to what they really wanted. At any rate, this will work on the honor system. All you need to do is click on UserCP and then Edit Profile. At the very bottom of the page you will find a box to select how many VentureRider meets and eats, rallies, maintenance days you have showed up for. I just put 20 in there for now but can increase it if and when I need to. Heck, some of you may have already made more than 20. If so, just let me know. Sorry Jeff and Beer, but this will have to do for now and takes the pressure off me and/or the moderators for adding this info. I will try to make it fancier some time soon.
