Please keep us posted on how it is after a while please. Good choice on the oil as well, I found that is the only oil that has helped reduce mine- speaking for myself that is. Glad to hear that the WHINE is gone for you. Jeff

Got mine yesterday , http://www.customdynamics.com/trick_flasher.htm I did not think I would want to slow the blinkers down, but after installing it. I really liked it. now ALL front and rears blink perfect. (slower) simple fix for $14.95. I also like the idea that my blinkers will not self cancel before I get to my turn as well. I always hated that. and YES you do have the crimp 2 flats on the ends to plug in the blue wire now (not black shown in there picture) is the ground and the red goes to the opposite side. very simple to install. My venture is now totally ALL LED's now. (except the headlight) THANKS FOR THE TIP! Jeff

Steve, dont wanna burst your bubble . but I want you to come back and tell us that the whine is still gone after 2 months of riding after the new gear wears in a bit. it will never be as bad as it was before. but I myself would like to know if yours comes back. I have had 2 (I) baskets in my bike. Jeff

I did the same thing and went to my city hall, they said for my town since it is (movable) there is no problem. does not need a permit as well' I went to the hardware store and put in about 8 more hold downs with the 4 that come with it. holding up real well. Jeff

I myself gave up on Modulights. (3 of them went bad) found a small one at U-HAUL of all places and it works great. less expensive as well. no more problems.

Mine was just a little 6 X 8 flag before my bike was triked and it was on a rod that came off the antennas, and it never shredded, and I have been riding with it for over 4 years now. I would just like to be able to somehow figure out how to get it back on my bike again. I am thinking your talking about the standard size flag is my guess. I could see were that would shred I bet. Jeff

OK Ponch there is another project for you do do for me now! but for a smaller flag

some like there sound louder and in doing so will distort you small speakers. you can still hear the bass but not feel it. make since? I am doing another experiment and I Just removed them from the front this winter while my fairing is off, As it has been long time since my blockers have been on my speakers. just to see the differance from a while back. I also removed the baffles as well on the front. I most likely will put them back on.

Gauges Not Working?????
Cougar replied to StarRider07's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Cougar Say's Before,,, I am not sure you want the oil to reach ALL the way to the other end. I don't think they work like that. to me it looks as if it did that there would be OIL all over the inside of the fairing. thought they were for pressure. I am still waiting for the email from Equss as well. Mine will stay as it is with AIR in the line myself. dug050, describes it very well. Jeff -

Yeah *LMAO* we better stop now.. And yes, we worked together when we were young, was not a bad guy then, He was fun to be around. THEN,,,,,,,,, Later in life he turned into a ----------- and a ---------- His parents were killed and he ran into lots of $$$$$ that is how he started Southbay. the other places might be Precision Circuit Masters and they always changed the name of the one right next to the San Jose Airport. that is the one you most likely dealt with. Anyways I used shilpley products lots. now back to what this thread is all about. I will email you when I think of the names of the other shops. WOW a long long time Bro. Jeff

You will be happy, now mind you that they still will not be fantastic but a heck of better, at first you will drool over the sound , let us know what you think! The stock speakers make really good fishing weights, then later add the cassett player when going shark hunting. now thats fun! Jeff
