I was trying to find the post about a member making some off-set brackets last year to make it so his wife's legs would go down farther on the passenger floor boards . but I can not seem to find it in the search. I am looking for the post for another RSV Owner any help would be great. Thanks, Jeff

We just got rid of ours. I know I will miss it, BUT the book values of these SUV's are dropping like a rock; hard and fast. When we picked up our new car last week they gave us 128% of its value though. So what I am agreeing with is that now is the time to by a used one , if you need one. A 30K SUV that was bought 2 years ago , might be worth 15K now if that. Sounds like you got a great deal !

Yep, 8 to 9 weeks is about right. and they are very bad with communication's but make a great product.

I have an extra one on eBay right now at a lowered price of $175.00 I can remove it and do it privately and save eBay fee's if anybody is interested. Not much different then my new one. I just had to know. My Loss your Gain. A new (I) basket with Shipping is about $289.00 (partshark) you also need a gasket. I have one of those as well. Jeff -
This is why my insurance company rate was lowered, do to the fact that my bike will not blow, fall over anymore. there stating to see the light. as jlh3rd said, it does not take much at all. and this is one of there largest pay-outs as well talking to my agent.

Yeah Squid, mine is doing the same thing. no more leaning. so the front tire will go square. still seems to be fine though. (scrapping effect now) the old Michelin is holding up pretty well on the front.

Just the stereo.
-
Forgot to add, that your front tire now will never wear on the side's BUT you will wear faster down the middle. what is now happening is that your front tire only moves side to side on the pavement (scrapping effect)

Do not go over 7lbs in the front. Up to you though. just my 2 cents worth. Also, on the rake you will get way to much bounce in the front If you make the more stiff. that is what I am betting from trying different air pressures over the past year in the front. Jeff

Interesting, I might give them a shoot. Just wondering why did you not go with the sps-10c2 's ?? http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_6466_Alpine+SPS-10C2.html Looks like a little more powerful speaker. I am sure I am missing something though. also how is the bass on them after the install? I already have my amp. and using Polk's. still trying to find a even better speaker though. Thanks, Jeff

Yeah, who's Steve? I meant to say Joe. I am really tired tonight! If you want to get your own you can find them at Yamaha on the aftermarket racks for about 30 bucks. But it is only $7.50 to ship to barrow one.

Well Harry. Seems that the sound gets louder over time. I wanted to try the 3rd one Just to see if maybe they might have changed the metal in the basket or the cut just might be a little different., seems that my 3rd one will do the trick, Like I say, it is a matter of time. I should know if it will stay the same by the end of the summer. My thinking , by having the NEW (I) in place and starting it off with MotorKote, It might make the sound stay were it is tolerable . Having said that... The job? no not bad at all, and yes you need the clutch tool Joe has one and I have one now. I can mail it to you when your ready, just send back the shipping charge please. I change baskets do to the fact from hearing from others that there sound is totally eliminated. That is still hard to believe for me just yet. some bikes the gears are cut a little different , so my 2nd basket COULD eliminate the sound all together. trust me on this as I have dealt with this for 5 years now. and continue to pursue this problem. I WILL ONE DAY! (NO RETURNS) on the baskets bought from them. Jeff

My First dose was 12 0z.. I now add about 8 to 10.. seems to be fine. I am now on my 3rd (I) basket. seems to be a bit better. Time will tell. If I have to change it out once a year I will do that from now on. as I have all the proper tools to do this job. My 2nd one is for sale and has 4500 miles on it. some basket do different things in other bikes.. no guarantees though. the basket is $200.00 shipped. I believe there are 2 left right now in the US out of Texas. call partshark. the total for the gasket, basket and shipping is about $289.00 or so. Jeff
