  1. yes, replace the yellow with black (hiding wire color) run both wires (black) behind each brake line. you could even goop (dot) them up the back side holing them temporally with tie wraps until goop is fully cured. Yes you will have to dremal the edge of the old base. and then goop away.

  3. they will never move or come off with household goop. I am sure the auto goop is the same thing. that is how mine are going on. then have (2) black wires , remove the yellow one, and come up the back of the brake line so you will not see the wire. you are going to remove the amber lens and have the whole black base to attach goop that is a lot of area to apply to.
  4. My WEP say's GetLostLoser when there trying to find a connect.
  5. 1 and 3 coils will bench test fine until warmed up just get another set from pinwall. cheap! notice how they are set up to elements of nature when you pull them. good luck, Jeff
  6. Most folks know that I have used Amzoil forever in my bike. then I went to using Amzoil plus MotorKote, and it made a great difference. NOW I am trying Rotella T-6 and MotorKote and OH MY! really nice. I agree with the above T-6 Post's and using M/K. I will stick with this change for a while now and report back about it next winter Jeff
  7. Since you brought this up.... I am removing my NON-CANCELING unit this weekend that I just got from Custom Dynamics. it was on 15 bucks. so if you really want one I have one! What I am finding is that now (once in a while) I might have driven 10 miles before I noticed them still on.. this in return ONE DAY will make a cage think that I want to make a turn and the cage will slam right into me causing a terrible accident one day. and those are my thoughts about that. I would most likely keep it on if I could maybe hear a tone that they are on. but in the day light I do not see the blinking very well on the dash. I added them , as I felt the same way, the factory cancel turns off way to soon. Jeff
  8. Already tried that with 4 X 10's still the same sound. no chopping involved. I also have had my eye on the above link for about a year now. but I keep laying down until the feeling goes away, the price is pretty high. I have tried almost everything now to make to sound perfect on these bikes. nothing has worked so far. the only help was switching over to Polk's, but that is a no brainier. I also run an AMP in my trunk that is 240 watts. that was installed a few years ago. Jeff
  9. OH MY!
  10. 10471.1 Found this on another site. Yamaha Motor cuts jobs, closes plants Japanese motorcycle maker Yamaha Motor announced Friday plans to close seven factories globally with the loss of 1,000 jobs, in an effort to bounce back from a 2.4-billion-dollar annual loss. Yamaha, the world's second biggest motorcycle manufacturer after Honda, said it would cut 200 jobs overseas, on top of the 800 in Japan announced last week. The streamlining is also in addition to a 10-percent reduction in the company's global workforce of 17,000 already underway, a Yamaha spokesman said. The group will shut five of its 12 domestic factories by 2012, all in Shizuoka prefecture, central Japan, now producing parts for motorcycles, marine products and buggies. Overseas, Yamaha will close a motorcycling factory in Italy and a marine products plant in the US state of Florida. "The company is expanding the scope of three structural reforms -- reorganising the manufacturing layout, the workforce and reducing costs -- beyond the level envisioned in the previous announcement," Yamaha said. Yamaha said it suffered a net loss of 216.1 billion yen (2.4 billion dollars) for the year to December, against a year-earlier profit of 1.8 billion yen. Revenue dropped 28.1 percent to 1.15 trillion yen in 2009 as the economic slump dented sales of motorcycles and marine products both at home and overseas, Yamaha said. For 2010, the company expects to break even on a net basis with solid demand in Asia projected to lift revenue by 8.4 percent to 1.25 trillion yen. But "demand in Europe and the United States is not expected to recover for some time," it said. "Thus, sales conditions surrounding the Yamaha Motor Group are expected to remain harsh," it said.

  21. Its kinda like when I did the tank venting --the 6 deg rake (EZ-STEER) tilts everything down a bit, I am keeping my oil level at 1/2 at the site glass. and yes the front end is lowered. I think that there is still plenty of oil splash in the engine to get everything lubed right. I do not see any extra oil any place . just me 2 cents. Jeff
  22. Thanks Much Squeeze , Yud Da Man! More like splain it to a dummy terms
