Yeppers, Just used it today on my BLACK Convertable New Beetle I am ticked pink over this product, now why have you folk not told me about this before? I take it that this has been out for a few years now. I thought about trying megirers (sp) soap in mine. you have no clogging issue's? Then that way all I need to worry about is the water filters in the future.

You got BOTH WASH AND RINSE for $6.99 >?????? 10 wash/rinse packs?? now that is a good deal. I still can not find them at our walmart hear yet. You get a box of Plain old BORAX 20 Mule Team Powder and mix and you can put about a 1/2 cup into a weed feed des. and turn the water on and rinse with the mix. and there is not supposed to be any spotting as well. I still have not tried this yet.
-
Right. I found my starters for $4.95 each and bought (2) of them thinking of getting about 5 more *LOL* I am even bidding on eBay for the rinse packs of 10 washes now. The starter pack is only 3 or 4 washes. Oh, and on another note I forgot to add the my original post is that you can also use the weed&feed canisters with the Borax mix in them on your water hose for a final rinse. I will practice with that next week

Mr Clean Auto Dry Car wash is absolutely wonderful , I have to admit that I was very skeptical about this product, I give it a 10 out of 10 (Awesome) First of all our water here in Iowa is extremely hard and you folks know what happens to chrome and the paint job if your not fast enough in drying, I have even tried using the soft-water out of the tap in the laundry room. even that will dry with salt left over. our water should be at about 3 grains PPM but it is around 55 Grains PPM Having said all that. I proceeded to wash my trike today and she turned out wonderful , just walk away and it will dry with no spots. but I could not help myself and had to try and dry it. what I liked is that you have till the end of time to wipe the chrome and plastic parts down with no spotting. I was so excited that I walked over and washed both our Cars as well. Guess what? NO HARD WATER SPOTS. simply walk away from the car. My other experiment that I have found and still need to try, is that you mix up a 1/2 cup of BORAX 20 Mule Team to 5 Gals of warm water and place your pressure washer siphon into the bucket, and rinse the car or bike with that. I am told that works very well also. The refiles for Mr Clean Auto Dry Car wash are kinda pricey. this item can be purchased at Walmart when in season and Target Stores and of course on-line. that is how I got mine. also do a a search and read the reviews, I think some do not follow the directions. it has its own soap as well. Just keep turning the dial. Just wanted to share this with you folks. Jeff

Oh he will get the (I) Basket. but when his dealer installs it. they only get half of the bill from Yamaha, when there having a good year. His Dealer will be taking the loss. -
Personally, I use both front and rear Kuryakyn long horns. But you can use just about anything you want to. just make sure you get the right clamp size for a 1 inch round . I am sure that your welder will have a computor at his or her shop then log in there and show them the above picture's they will get the idea ! Annie, so were the above post is what you are looking for and do you think your leg would be OK with that set-up?

NO NEW wheels with that lil peanut on the way. sorry nice car.!

Same here as FreezyRider , I am even thinking the Rotella 5w-40 syn is even better then the Amzoil 10-40 Syn ->I have ALWAYS used. That above U-TUBE was great, mine used to sound that bad. before I started using (I) Baskets. -
Yeah, that was the other one, thanks Condor I wish some of these were placed in the tech section. but that never happened.*oops*

This is with them finished and chromed. show both these posts to your welder the plate that will be welded to the bar is stainless as well. the inside dimensions will be a 1/4 inch from the heat shields on each side. I hope this help, also when you use the hwy pegs you will also be able to go out forward even more . Note:: the hose clamps on each side of the main plate , I added them so when I want to remove the bar for some reason , I just loosen them up a bit , undo the two bolts and the bar will roll foreword it is also a little more strength for the passenger when more compression of the feet are applied to the pegs. works very well and this set up is very strong. good luck and let me know how it worked out for you. Jeff

Annie, here are some photo's of how I started, the first one is a few days before I send the bike out fro triking. noticed the side stand. I believe I was at about 45 degs and the plate that will be welded to the stainless steal round bar that will attach to the center-stand plate under the bike. let me know if you need more info. this will be a multiple post before chrome and after.

Nick, you let me know when you come up with a protective cover for those rear coils. Like yours my #1 was the problem as well. I used a truck load of dielectric grease also, it has been a year , so far all is well. I lost my top end power when they warmed up. maybe use aluminum for a shield? I just can not get over the fact that they did that to the rear coils. I am glad you got it figured out, it drove me crazy for a few months. Jeff -
Annie, It sure would..YES As long as you will never use the side stand anymore. The mod mounts to where the center-stand would go. If your careful with the wires and such, you can also put the side stand back on in the future as well. I will get some pictures sent, and you will need to find a welder that can bend (1") stainless steal and has it in stock. you will also need to find a plating shop if you wanted it chromed. if you look in my older post you can see the stainless steal not chromed yet. bongobob Yep, that was my wife first compliant. I had to move the trunk back ASAP. I used (2) car shock washers for spacers and (2) longer bolts and moved that trunk back , she noticed right off the bat that she was pushed forward to much. With the shock washers you will be able to adjust the trunk to the proper height so has to not hit the lip of the trike body and looks great. no trim work.

Well that is almost word for word on what he told me about 3 years ago. He needs to change his line a bit .. Sheesh. I will still buy from him though. but I will never expect a shield from him under 8 weeks. nice guy though. I think he needs some sort of secretary or something. in over his head.

Oh that sucks Wally, So Sorry to hear that. Well you got the gang here to hang out with bud!

*LMAO* you guys are WAY to LATE! Sheesh! :rotf:

sleeperhawk. Well that post I was looking for shows how to make that mod. I agree with you comment about the DR's. I looked into that a long time ago. My wife has long legs.

Here is my VERY DIRTY CHROME MESSY BIKE *sigh* That will be Cleaned this weekend :happy65:anyways here are the finished mods. even the Big Old horn fits in there. They have been in use now for over a year and the wife loves them. as she has a bad knee and needs the stretch it out once in a while. there has been NO issues with this MOD. Warning:: This MOD CAN NOT be Done unless Triked. The warning is not so much for the lean. it just gets in the way when the kick-stand has to go back up. I almost had it to were I had it working with having the kickstand. but no go.

Mike, I can not even find my OLD post on the finished Chrome that was from post 27 and how pretty it all looked when it was finished, at least to me Chrome is still holding up real well. you will see them next week.

Nope, this is NOT for me. I have already added hwy pegs to my trike for my wife remember the chrome bar you brought back to me? She loves the fact that she now can stretch her legs to relieve the pressure on her legs. they work awesome.
