  1. We have this question pop up and you'll get about two thousand opinions . All the way down to how long between changes. I go 10k on my cars and 7.5 k on the bike. Just the way I do it but I do use Synthetic on everything.

  6. You guys will find the Jason mod kinda useless. You connecting 2 vacuum ports together. There's not enough flow thru those little pin holes to make a noticeably difference. Now if you could connect something the size of say 30mm between the two carbs then you would have about the same thing as the Vmax setup.
  7. One thing, You've been on a V-twin. These V4's are a totally different beast. You may need to adjust you shifting. These bike NEED higher RPM's. You can take 2nd to 55 easily. These bikes have a LOT of power, ya just got to know where it is.

  9. If your all your plugs were the right color I kinda doubt the coil was a problem. I only get about 35mpg... But I NEVER ever go light on the throttle. Just too much fun....
  10. Uh, All to complicated guys. Your not trying to match an Op amp to an RF application . Plug it in and let it run for an hour. If its charging keep it. If not buy the new one.

  12. What's wrong with the MM ? Seems like a nice color. I mean, Its the same bike...A little less shine on the chrome but you know about your current machine pretty well.
  13. We have a black lab about a year old. She's about 75lbs. But she sounds like 200lbs when she starts barking at something. Which is usually about 3 or 4 in the morning when my daughters cat tries to comes in. It don't usually make it.
  14. I had Commanders . They were noisy in the turns but felt OK.

  17. She really can't see in front better than I can. But if she yells about something I listen. There's a lot more out there than just gravel. An off camber turn can get an inexperienced or experienced rider just as fast if they misjudge it and hit it too fast. In fact I'd be willing to bet it gets more bikers in trouble than gravel does.
  18. Never heard it change according to weight. You will find it louder at certain rpms. Such as 45 in fourth. That's how mine works. I don't really hear mine much anymore. I don't even get out of third till about 65 when I'm just taking it easy. And you can take third to about ninety. Bike is smooth as it can be at higher RPM's .
  19. I run several MC tires with plugs. Never had a problem with them. I keep a plug kit and fix a flat as basic emergency tire repair.
  20. Anytime you can walk away from one it turned out good. Like you, I have been riding all my life pretty much. Had my share of mishaps and what have you's. Stuff can be replaced. The important things appear to be OK in this one.

  22. You don't have to cut them. Just remove and use some lock washers to fill if needed
  23. That's a rip off copy of Larry's. PM Carbon One. He designed that. I have one and it includes legs so once up on the lift put the legs on it and remove the jack. Lot easier to work on it with the jack outta the way.
