Yup! Happened to several of us! The screws that hold the "battery" covers on the side use the same bolt and in an emergency situation it will get you home! Use loctite and you will never have to worry about it again...

OK the project got started yesterday. Yesterday I took off my floorboard and brake pedal and removed the old master cylinder. Today I did a little planning and thinking and fabricating. I decided to use the stock brake pushrod and I am fabricating a mounting plate for the master cylinder. I am tapping the side mounting holes on the new master cylinder so I can bolt it to the plate. The plate is going to be bolted to the brake pedal equalizer mount. I am slotting the holes so that the master can be adjusted up and down a little, and adjusted closer and further away from the brake pedal. I did a lot of hacking away on the piece that is the brake pedal mount so that the fabricated bracket will work out. I am trying to avoid drilling holes into the frame if at all possible. I have been taking pictures but probably not enough for a step by step illustration. I will make a template of the mounting plate once it is finished, I'm using 1/8 inch aluminum. My next obstacle is coming up with a nice SS brake line to go from the master back to the T block that will be SAE on the Master cylinder end and metric on the T block end. More to follow and pictures...

That one looks to be in excellent condition Brian! It's hard to find one that isn't all pitted and flaking these days. Usually they have to be stripped and either rechromed or powdercoated. Yes there is a chance the chrome will separate if you bend it back in shape so if you can live with it all the better. Hopefully you also have the 4 spacers required for mounting but if not no big deal you can always glue some regular washers together to make up the distance. As far as the "V" on the grille, it is the same as the one on the trunk rack. I have only seen the 1200 on the grille and not the 1300 emblem. I'll look around to see if I have a spare but I doubt it...

I've bought from them as well and was satrisfied, but nowdays I just order the stuff from Pioneer Motorsports and save the shipping charges. Pioneer gives us 15% off. They are right around the corner from me so that's why no shipping costs...

I see by your profile it's an '83. Carefuly check the frame at the rear shock for cracks. This is a known problem for that year only. They changed the design in '84... -

Usually I'll ask 3 different people the same question and get 3 different answer. I then pick the one that sounds the best to me...

When I jack up from the differential, both wheels come up equally! If I turn the front end it will fall to the side depending on what way I turn to!!

Sometimes I wonder if sellers on Fleabay play with a full deck!!! Some of the first class CRAP that dealers try to pawn off just amazes me! Also, some dealers want to become millionaires overnight when they have a decent item but want waaaaaay too much for their merchandise! The frightening part is there are people out there WILLING to pay for both kinds of stuff!! Not saying that there are still deals out there, I still find a few, but it seems like things are getting out of hand! I can remember times when you would click on the ebay link and find 400 items if you were lucky, but now there are a minimum of over 10000!! What's up with that?!!?
