  1. Thanks Forrest, I'll see if I can get someone out here
  2. Excuse my ignorance Annie, I am thinking that the Patriots are an organization down under. Are the like the Patriot Guard here in the states?
  3. Nope, I can't get DSL either, even though the neighbor about 1/4 mile down the road says she has AT&T DSL. I had it good at the old place, cable internet and TV for $59 a month. It's going to cost me more than that for this hotspot I just looked into the Clear you talked about....not available where I'm at, just can't win for loosing
  4. Thanks for the suggestions folks, I am going to take a look at the Clear and internet america. I had enough with Verizon so they definitely wont get my money. The Hotspot works well enough, but it seems to use up lots of GB's on nothing. The plan has 5GB per month and as I type this I have 4.59 left, I have only had it 24 hours. I have 30 days to say yea or nay and I'm not getting a warm fuzzy feeling with it right now at the rate it's being used. It's good to be back on with all you lunatics, kind of funny you have to go back to the nut house to feel at home
  5. Some of you know that the reason I haven't been on the site is that we haven't had internet at the new house. I ended up getting an AT&T Hotspot wifi transmitter that uses cell towers and 4G to get hooked up. It works but I'm not crazy about having to spend $60+ a month for internet. I have this thing for 30 days to try it, and if I want I can return it and get out of the contract (which I wont go into that rant) I need other options from y'all, I wont waste my money on Huges Net and besides what we have right now, that is the only other option. I'm too far from a distribution center to be able to get DSL, and dialup will just irritate me and I have enough irritants in my life right now. I am open for any ideas or suggestions you have
  6. Good on ya Hazen! I remember our trek down to Texas and what a circus that was. I'm glad that y'all were able to make it out of Michigan
  7. Bobo, I swapped Zipcodes front brakes to R1's on his RSTD and it was a noticeable difference with the stock master cylinder. I haven't got into the math as Lynn has, but it's a good upgrade with just the R1. I have also done the same thing and delinked the front brakes on my '86 I have now and am using the stock M/C and it too is a noticeable difference...
  8. I just got a AT&T hot spot today matter of fact, so as long as we have a signal at the house we'll be back on the internet.....love that pic though
  9. .....But it sure does feel like it! Just a quick note to let y'all know were still alive and kicking. This new house is gonna kill me Been living init since the last week of March and still have way too much to do, still not a complete kitchen If nayone needs to get ahold of either Lonna or myself use our phones to do it. We still dont have internet at the house (thats a whole nother fiasco) and I wont be able to get on the site for days at a time. Hope all is well with everyone and eventually we'll get a life back, be safe and we'll ttyl
  10. I know I haven't been on much lately, but I am glad that the end result is a good one. Looking forward to seeing y'all again soon, and I hope the aches and pains are subsiding.

  17. JB....PM me I have what you need
  18. If it wasn't almost 800 miles to Newnan we would see you more often too Hell we were 30 miles closer to you when we lived in Michigan
  19. Well by God I hope you get the job! you'll only be about 4 hours from us Good luck with it Gunk
  20. Your Momma raised you right Bob, I can not relate to loosing a parent, I fortunately still have both of mine, but being 1500 miles from them....I sure do miss seeing them. I have been where you have with 2 of my Grandparents being there with them until they passed. As much as it hurt to have them go, I am blessed that I was able to spend every last minute they had on earth with them. I have a strong feeling you make your Mom smile this time every year
  21. Buz, Thank you for sharing this very private and painful part of your life with us. Never anything that can be said to help heal your heart. He left this world loving what he was doing at the time, how many folks can experience that. I truly hope you can find some peace and may your family's pain be short lived. Live in your sons memories, he still watches over you, he will never not be with you....all the best to you and your family.
  22. Happy Birthday My Friend!!!
  23. Mike, I dont think a carb sync is going to fix all that, it will help smooth the bike out and let the idle come down quicker. If you have an airbox full of holes that could be a major culprit right off. Has the bikes carbs been re jetted? if not, the holes will screw up the air flow and can give you fits. Take some duct tape and cover the additional holes in the airbox. We can check the float levels with them on the bike at Doodles MD and see where they are. 2 turns out on the air/fuel mix screws is a good start point, try covering those holes 1st though.
  24. I have used them several times and have good luck with them every time. They worked with me and their prices were very good. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again
  25. We miss seeing you brother, get yourself better and we'll work at getting you here to the new digs....you'll like the 30 X 40 Pole Barn
