They are available at many bike stores, Competition Accessories, Cycle Gear and other internet stores. I bought mine for $15.00 at the local Cycle Gear store.

What is the expected clutch life?

Not only a layman but a caveman could do it!!! -
No you don't feel anything except the laying still for hours (after th procedure) can put a strain on the back.

devastatation of earthquake in Burlington Ontario

Obama said he was going to send massive aid for clean-up. -
All I can say is that I run 9 mph over any posted highway speed. I never run over 80 on my speedo since the cruise does not work after that. I don't believe that my indicated speed is correct but not off by much. There are many posts that state the RSV indicates higher than actual speed so I probably am not running more than 5-6 mph over the speed limit. On my last big ride I went through at least three radar areas with no problem.

You have good advice. This is also what I do.

Dingy is right on the blood clots. I fought doctors for six months last year telling them I could not get enough oxygen to walk to the mail box. After stress test, heart cathetars and lots of visits they said there is nothing wrong with me. Two weeks before Christmas I passed out twice at home. they found a blood clot in my lungs that had been there for more than six month and told me I should be dead. All is well now that I am on Coumadin (blood thinner) for life. Take care and be good!

This is the first time I saw this post but I was on a two week ride. I am sorry for your loss, Ponch. I lost my father twelve years ago, and there are times when I feel his presence.

I preordered the new Iphone 4 early on the 15th and Fed Ex delivered it today. I like it. It's much improved over the Iphone 3G that I had. It was a snap to switch over from my old phone. The new phone is much faster. The apps are much snappier and the 3G data transfer now approaches broadband speed. It seems that the old Iphone wasn't capable of processing the data at 3G speeds. The new phone seems to correct that. There are many new features and the phone seems easier to hold. Not as slippery as the original. I just love new toys... Dennis Call Rush Limbaugh, he couldn't get one. I bet you could sell it to him for megabucks!

Yep, I agree! But I remember a bad back and no desire to ride more than 2 miles. Mine was a 47' rigid with a built pan engine and a 22" wide glide.

First LONG ride on my Venture
Sylvester replied to rumboogy's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
If you were applying the brakes while coming to the stop, your rotors or steering bearings are suspect. It could be tires if you don't maintain air pressure. Dunlop D404 tires are great tires for me and I have used them for most of the 130,000 miles I have on my 02'. If you think your bike is hot, try a Harley. -

I have a reconditioned radiator for a RSV. It develped a leak years ago and Yamaha was taking too long for a replacement. I had it repaired so I could keep riding. Months later I got a new replacement and the dealer told me to keep the one I had repaired. It works fine without any problems. Let me know if you need it.

What I did with all your help:

The best way for side lights that I have found is to install LED reflectors in place of the original reflectors. -
My 02' Venture has 130,000 miles. I have tried various tires in the past but my favorite is the D404 WWW. Excellant wet handling and decent wear. I have my own tire changing equipment so I order online tires. Metzler's really suck! That is all I can say.

I would love a set at this price, but I put on the Diamond R deflectors a few years ago and I don't believe they will ever fail.

Yep, I run 10W-40 without any problems here in Charlotte NC.

The tach issue could be the product you bought. The Baron's works fine if you install it as dual fire. The starter issue (I have experienced) is due to timing issues. Get the carbs synched and a full tune up.

The Kirby will suck up a bolling ball, but we now have a Dyson. Cheaper and easier to tote up the stairs.

:sign yeah that: I got confused when I installed my Baron's mini tach and had funny rpm readings. V-7 Goose has it together!

Is that a first gen? Doesn't appear to be a 2nd gen.

Never ride without Western boots. Nothing to catch.
