    I dumped Progressive a couple of months ago. I bought a new (used) bike and they went up to $800 a year! I shopped around and Farm Bureau quoted me half that. It seems like every ins. co. I go with is cheap up front, then they stick it to you the next year.

    I'm the same as most here. Left turns seem more natural to me.

    I like videos like that. The sidecar/boat is extremely impractical, but i love the inventiveness of it.

    The fairing looks better with passing lamps. I don't like the vents. I am another chrome lover. I don't like the blacked out look. I do like the 1700 CCs and the side opening bags.

    I used to be a member of the FOE in Knoxville, but all we did was drink beer and shoot pool.

    Yeah, kinda like a train wreck. It's horrible, but you can't keep from looking.

    I actually had a car pull out and try to hit me in the side. I had my nephew (who is afraid of everything) on the back. I was able to accelerate and swerve a little to avoid being hit. I forgot for a second that my nephew was on the bike with me. I think it scared me more than it did him.

    When I drove a truck (30 years ago) I shifted without the clutch. It felt smooth in that old Mack, but it doesn't feel right to me on the bike.

    I haven't seen it. All I see is that d@%# gecko. Geico must be way over charging people with as many commercials that they can afford.

    I put K & Ns on mine and couldn't tell a bit of difference. I just changed because I put the billet covers on.

    My wife and I bought one of the netbooks to carry on the bike, and it works ok. We were carrying a full sized laptop before and it took up too much room.

    Why do you say that? What does it not do? I'm just curious. I would like to have one.

    You'll love it!! A friend and I rode 2 of them in June, at the bike rally here in Knoxville. I've never felt that kind of power in my life.

    It wouldn't matter, since they didn't hook up any radiator hoses, and how did it start? I didn't see any wiring done.

    A guy that I know came into work on crutches the other day. Of course, I asked what had happened. He and his wife were riding down the road when a deer appeared in front of him. He tried to swerve and miss it, and at the same time he stuck his left leg out to try to push the deer out of the way. It totalled his bike and broke his leg, but he was able to ride home. Other than that, they were both OK.
