  3. you could go to hardware store and buy the clamp on type coupling. Just cut out the pipe that has the crack( aka where its leaking) cut another piece of pipe to fit. Slide the rubber coupling on eachside of the pipe and then roll them onto the original pipe thats left. The rubber coupling also comes with a band ( alumiinum I think) that wraps around the rubber piece. tighten the screws and your done. Dont over tighten these as you can strip them. I cant remember the name of the pipe clamp but I've done this on numerus ocasions and it worked fine. David Ok I just google pvc rubber couplings and what Im talking about is called a ferco coupling. Its relatively simple to use and you want have to use so many 45's . One piece of pipe and 2 ferncos to match diameter of pipe. Yes Im a painter but I did plumbing for 4 yrs previus to this and alos called my copusin who is a liscensed ( spelling ) plumber here in NC and this was his sugestion also. Good luck and my number is in my profile if you need help. sorry I didnt respond earlier but wanted to educate myself before I made a dumb response.

  13. Ive only got one problem with this.Useing black plastic ties..Ever seen those things after a year or 2 in the elements. They get brittle. I had some I used to hold a gravity deer corn feeder to a tree. Left it in the woods and when I went to check it the following year the straps actualy broke when I put in corn. They were brittle and cracked form weather. Not sure if melting them and working them into abs would change that or not. David

  19. I changed my 91 vr and the wifes 97 shadow to the syvania silerstar. Great difference but I think it had quite a bit more wattage usage. It was a simple change and was really noticed on the wifes bike. Plus when I changed the bulb it let me find out I needed a new headlight plug on the wifes bike as the original had dhorted and burned badly. New plug and buld and all was well David

  22. Hi, This is Laura, Painterman's wife. I have the Cannon EOS Rebel T1. It's the basic DSL for Cannon. I love it! I'm just about to finish a year long course in Photography and have used the camera thru out the course. I also have the 75-300 lens. The 35-55 lens, which comes with the body, just doesnt get the long distance shots that I like to take, close enough. If that makes sense! Yes, I would love to move up to a better camera, but for now I am completly satisfied with the images that I have created with it. It is very eary to use, I have had no problems the the camera at all. It's well worth the money. I hope this helps, and if you have any other questions, feel free to ask. Laura Ps The above post was put up by my wife as I know nothing about cameras........
