You just unbolt the lights from the front of the forks, insert the spacer and then bolt it back on. Just thought an extra set of hands at MD, might be a good thing.

Saw this on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Motorcycle-Parts-Accessories__99-to-08-Yamaha-Royal-Star-Venture-Passing-Lamp-Spacer_W0QQitemZ140237120766QQadnZMotorcycleQ20PartsQ20Q26Q20AccessoriesQQadiZ2863QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item140237120766& Is this one of us or does anyone here sell these? I would like to take one to Maintenance day or pick it up there and get some assistance in putting it on. Thanks, Jay

Wife and I looked yesterday in Litchfield. If I had mine sold I would have bought one! Just couldn't swing the $$ in a trade and let them make the extra $2500. If anyone wants to buy my 2003 for $10,500 just PM me:thumbsup: and we'll talk!

Little bit of riding, then a lot of remodeling to my son's room, paint, tear out carpet and lay hardwood floor. I took all next week off too, so I am sure more things will get added to the list.

I figure my rides are still way cheaper than a Psychologist/Psychiatrist and BELIEVE ME that's where I would be if it wasn't for riding. Even my wife knows that. I would probably get fired from work too cause I would tell them all off. I asked my wife if I should cancel some of my planned rides this year and she didn't even hesitate to say no way. Don't think she wants me around in the mood I would be in:2133: So in the long run I would rather eat crackers and peanut butter/bread and water:rasberry: than not ride.

I don't think I'm that far behind you! I love my RSV..but....at some point I will want a new bike. Depending on what, or if ever, Yamaha does to the Venture, I know I'll will at least be test driving a wing.

I just picked up a Nuvi 650 with a wide screen, $210, Ebay Refurbished. Really like it so far. This weekend will be my first use on the bike. I don't worry too much about the water proof issue as I cover it with a Ziplock bag if rain is in the forecast. As far as the vibration I ride a venture so that's not an issue either More vibration in my cages than on my bike. I like the bigger screen and the easy to use MP3, and picture viewer. The map directions seem very accurate compared to my previous GPS. Its all a matter of $ and personal preference. Jay

Wow. That's one nice looking scoot. If I bought it will you bring it to me. I figure there is no way in Hell the wife will let me but that's is the best looking 1st Gen I've ever seen. I love red!

I thought of something the other day. When in a classified you can comment, but I cannot find a way to send a message, pm or email. That would help in contacting seller. Thanks for all you do. Don't forget to let me know about MD assistance. Jay

Most Dealers sell them that would work. My Dealer has CURVES clear with foarm around the egdes for 19.95. I use some I got at a rally with more of a rubber around the egdes. I have also used clear or yellow saftey glasses that wrap around. Just depends on how sensitive to wind in the eyes you are.

My only advice would be to get rid of the Brickstone anyway. If you put the Avon's all the way around you will think you have a new bike. If you have a significant other you tell her they HAVE to be matched

I will roll in Friday afternoon/early evening. Depends if I want to hit the Casino in the afternoon. Don't know about LA, but probably Friday too.

As far as mileage I got 15,500miles on my back tire and so far have 23000 on the front and it has plenty to go. I'm sure it will depend on how you ride, but mine was a mixture of 50/50 1 & 2 up. And by the way, I LOVE THEM TOO!
