  1. I suspect that is an ongoing problem with your bike too!
  2. Well this morning I got everything ready for my 60 mile commute to work, fired the bike up everything fine. Rolled it back out of the garage and as I turned the front wheel to the left to get around the wife's SUV the lights ALL went out. No headlight, running lights or dash lights. Engine still running, radio playing too. My first thought is a blown fuse due to a short caused by a crimp in the lighting wires from when I put the driving light spacer in before I left for Don's. Everything worked great all weekend, but I'm thinking it must have cut through the wires because of the hard crank to the left to get it out this morning. Does this sound like a reasonable place to start? Any other ideas? Thanks, Jay
  3. OK then.........head to Hannibul. Meeting Bill there Saturday at Noon and I think Hippy and Nance are going too.
  4. I really appreciate you doing this and have enjoyed myself both times I have been able to attend. Also, now I know what the brake lines are after helping you with Crash's bike . Good think Eck was not there last year, because I thought this year was alot cooler Anyway.............when will it be next year??
  5. Missed you guys. Don't be a stranger. Jay
  6. It was great to see you guys and hang out. LA and I left at 5:30 Amherst time Sunday and I rolled in at 3:15 Amherst time, 2:15 my time. 1040 miles total riding for the weekend. LA split off in Indy and headed South to Mississippi I think. I wish I had known you guys were leaving for good when you pulled out Saturday I would have made a point to say bye. Watch out I may come down and visit
  7. LA rolled in about 11:30 this morning and we have been swapping lies all day. He has requested Spiderman sheets so the bed is made:cool10: and he is good to go! We'll be heading out after daylight. See you all at MD!.
  8. Thanks my friend. Looks so easy I may do it before I leave if I have time. I'll have my son help me. At 11 he still likes to do things with Dad
  9. Sounds like they were over inflated to wear down the center. Don't know about you but I check my air pressure every day and correct as appropriate. 40lbs front/45lbs rear solo, and 42/48 two-up.
  10. Thanks, those are Harely RoadGlide Pipes.

  12. The BOSS has to work, so I can afford gas to keep coming to all these get togethers! I might talk Jared into coming with me.
  13. Will do. thanks for the heads up. Every chance I get and where its applicable I like to switch to hex heads too. Started doing that after the saddlebag fiasco!
  14. I had a brain f**T. 26K miles on the front.
  15. Yep, Bill just PM'd me. Cool! Thought I had read another thread that you had to get them. Hadn't really looked the package over that well.
  16. Haven't seen LA around for awhile. Anybody heard from him or know where he is?
  17. I run 87 with 10% ethanol, with absolutely no problems. Almost every station in Central IL has the 10% Ethanol and I use it in everything. Tried some high octane once in my scoot and actually got worse mileage. Jay
  18. Got the spacer yesterday and already left Ebay feedback. Thanks. What hardware will I need to mount the spacer and the light bar? Thanks,
  19. Me too They are always my 1st choice. They have extremely knowedble staff also. When we were there lst year I bought an XM mount and it made my power cord to short to run under the seat to my extra outlet. The owner soldered in an extension, while his wife helped me install the mount. That sold me. I was TOTALLY impressed.
  20. My 1st rear Avon I got 14,500 miles, the current one has 10K miles and still going strong The front currently has 36000 miles on it and I plan to change it after MD sometime. Its just now getting to the wear bars.
  21. If you still have have it I will take it and pay you at MD. Jay
