  2. LA and I will be at the Red Roof Inn about 2 miles away.
  3. Submitted some this morning and plan to do more in the future. Don't think I could make it through the day without this place. While it was down this morning for me I just didn't feel like I had a reason to get dressed and go to work. I LOVE YOU GUYS!
  4. Roadkill WildHair 39 We'll be there.
  5. No offense, but.......NO WAY, NO HOW!! I figure there just has to be a reason, why there are special tires for motorcycles and personally I don't want to chance it to save some $$. I will pray :2133:that you gamble is correct. Be careful on the test ride LA!
  6. I had the pillow and they were ok, but now I have a Corbin, I will NEVER have anything else. I swear it increased by day by 150 - 200 miles. Of Course, seats are a matter of opinion.
  7. Isn't Devine Intervention a blessing!
  8. I have no problem with an annual fee. Even if it was $50-$100. I would like to suggest if we have to go to a dedicated service that those of us that want to volunteer to pay. No one but Don ever needs to know who pays, but we would need to committ before he makes a committment. In this way no memeber is obligated or is meant to feel like an inferior member because they don't pay. Just my 2. Jay
  9. I had one just like it. Loved it. That is until I totalled it on Route 13 in Tennessee:confused24:
  10. Add a plug in for your coffee Pot. OR Have it shipped directly to my place You know the address Seriously, I bet you will really get some good use from it. Jay
  11. SWEET!
  12. I put a new battery in my 2003 Saturday. It seems it runs better with more acceleration. Is there any chance the two things are related?
  13. Heck, I would NOT ride a new one that far . I ride with several HD riders and have yet to make it through a whole trip without something going wrong on one of their bikes; Tail lights quit, module died, bolts fell out of the mufflers, blown fuses, etc, etc, etc. I think the only thing that has ever happened to me was the Dead Battery this past Saturday. I think it might have been the original on my 2003, so I wasn't too upset. Don't get me wrong, I ABSOLUTELY love the HD look and sound, and they have some great merchandising to go along with it, but for ME I don't think I could let go of the $$$ compared to the quality.
  14. See my post in the other thread on this topic. That is about all we have in IL. Never have any problems. If your bike is running rough I would say its something OTHER than the gas. The RSV manual states the 10% Ethanol is ok. I honestly NEVER check my milage on the bike. I know its better than my SUV and even if it wasn't I would still ride just as much.
  15. I hope you don't have the much trouble. Maybe I've been lucky. I use it in everything Chainsaws, weedeaters, blowers, mowers, Motorcycle, generator. I never use Stabil and always have 20 Galllons of gas sit all winter. Everything starts 1st time everytime. So maybe its just hype from folks that have an Axe to grind with Ethanol Also, my cousin runs it in his '49 international truck he as restored and it runs like a dream. I will bet $$ you won't have any problems at all.
  16. It was good to see you too my friend. As far as the wind, I can think of a few times I've road when it was as bad or worse, but not alot. I stopped back by my dealer in Springfield, IL for their Customer Appreciation days and let him appreciate me:rasberry: and feed me a free hot dog. I taking my RSV back in on Tuesday eve for its 36000 mile service so they will get to appreciate me even more Looking forward to the St.Charles M&E Later.
  17. Jay - 6', 195lbs. Born 3/21/61 Just put XXL on and rode in one of the windiest days I've rode in for awhile on Saturday. The shield performed very well. The one thing I liked was my hands did not get as much wind and were a little warmer. Only sprinkled so can't say about the rain yet. I know it felt like a lot less wind that it would have been on the OEM.
  18. I live here in Springfield and run Nothing but 10% Ethanol. Never ever had any problems. We do have E-85 and you DO NOT want to use that. Give me a call when you get here on my cell # listed in my profile and I show you the FEW nice areas around town to ride. Jay
  19. About 4k miles for me here in Central IL. Just started riding in April. 1st Oil Change Wednesday 5/7
  20. I think I might see about getting the press involved. Newspapers and Local TV stations love this kind of stupidity. You would be surprised what a little negative publicity does to elected officials.
  21. And my dealer sold 8 last year and has an 08 Black Cherry/Raven on the floor now. And we are in what I would call a small market.
  22. June 7th, Oberlin, OH
  23. I don't know if you should be in charge of the beer:rotf:Kind of like turning the fox loose in the hen house.
  24. Yeah, I figured you would. Just meant I have been involved from start to finish. Just let me know what you decide. I can be there anytime you tell me to be.
  25. I have a 6 x 12 Haulmark that will work very well 4 one bike. There are lots of great options for one bike. I'm in the process of fixing the inside of mine up since I bought it used. New panelling some cabinets, etc.. Good luck.
