  1. Will she just bring me some STAG beer and Diet Dew and I'll just pay her! Also, I expect a big hug from her too! See you there buddy. Really looking forward to seeing you. Jay
  2. See you Wed. afternoon. Remember to have a cold STAG beer waiting on me
  3. You guys take care. We'll miss you. LA was looking for a room, but haven't been able to get in touch to see if he found one.
  4. Anybody know where Lowell is? I have called his cell 2 or 3 times but no return calls. Jay
  5. Interesting. Down here in the states I actually get better mileage on Regular Most here will tell you that also. I have also heard that Premium will cause some problems, but I can't remember what they were. The manual specifically recommends 87 octane. As an aside I wish I got 45 mpg. I run mostly all Interstate to and from work 130 mile round trip 4 days a week. Average 69 mph. I consistently get 37 mpg no matter what fuel I use.
  6. I sent you a PM to send it UPS, so I have it by Wed next week for Eureka Springs, I don't think it will make it USPS now. Jay
  7. My wife has never been nervous, but she does do something that might help you. She takes pictures on our rides. She will pic a topic before we start...Barns, churches, horses and then try to take pictures of as many as she can. Really makes the time pass and then we go through them togehter on the PC later. This might help you concentrate LESS on the ride which will let you enjoy it more.
  8. Hoping mine are arriving soon too! I'm it will work great.
  9. I might be interested. PM me price and maybe we can work something out for Terry to throw it out the window on her way north:rotf:
  10. Not gonna be in ES till the 10th. Must be at PIP. I sent him a PM a long time ago and haven't heard back. Laptop must not be working where ever he is.
  11. I'm hear for you Gary. You and yours are in my prayers.
  12. I use a Nuvi 650, cover it with baggie in wet weather. Works perfectly. Very easy to use and I would never be without a GPS now that I've had one. Got it rebuilt on Ebay. for under 200.
  13. I bought a used 6x12 flat front and I tow it behind my Olds Bravada. No problems what so ever. Had it loaded to the hilt with lumber Thursday and it pulled like a dream. I normally get 19 on the highway and with the trailer fully loaded Thursday I got 13. Mine is also extra tall. I found that some trailers you have to be carefull of the door opening to get the bike in with the taller windshields we have and mine is even taller since I went to the xxl Clearview. Jay
  14. I have the XXL, tinted with vent. Love It. Rain moves off alot better. Still will have a little difficulty when its foggy, but it doesn't bother me. Really like the tint. Great in the sun and no ill effects at night and I ride everyday to work in the dark. The vent I probably would not have got If it hadn't been a blem. I can only feel a small amount of air when its open. But I have been hit in the forehead when a bug went throught LOL! Overall I really like mine.
  15. Don't worry Mike, you'll get used to the front. I have noticed NO difference in wind and believe me we have WIND hear in the flat land. You will find that a little input goes further than before. Once you relax and not provide over input it will handle fabulously. I've ran one for over 35K miles and will never go back.
  16. Thanks, I'll call the office later today and place an order for just the trunk liner and find out how to get you the $$. Take care, Jay
  17. I know you have been busy. What about just a trunk liner????
  18. Illinois is North............Some of the roughest, flat roads you will ever ride But......I live here so its a good state Seriously, have you thought about Wisconsin? We went to Southwest WI in July with another couple and it was very nice. Nice rolling hills and I'm sure it would be very colorful in fall. But you would have to stop in and say Hi on your way north.
  19. This is the one I use and I am VERY happy with it. I will hold almost everysize, including my coffee mug with handle. this one could be mounted to the passenger grab rails also and it will swivel out of the way of the saddlebag lids when you need to open them.
  20. Aren't Sport Bikes banned from the International Rally?? Just kidding Bill!! I just could NOT resist. Leaving in 15 days for ES. Be sure to have a few on ice for my triumphant arrival!
  21. happy anniversary!!
  22. Yes, I have the smaller tire on the front. I am totally sold on Avon's and the smaller tire. The front size on the Avon Venom is MT90B16/74H
  23. I would probably change them when I got back. I'm kinda like Boo, though not quite as bad. However, if its gonna eat at you the whole time then definetely change it. If you get stranded along the road Teri can have a ride, but you are walking buddy!
  24. Hey Dan. Wasn't really alluding just wishful thinking. My Dad was a welder and would make all kinds of things too. He's been gone for some time, but I still miss him. When I hear folks make there own items or have a friend or family do it, I miss him even more. I always was the idea guy and Dad was the get it done guy. However..............., with your motto and your mullings, maybe we should get together and do some designing and fabrication. I feel an Indiana Roadtrip coming on!
  25. Cool, you're lucky. Wish I had someone to make me one! Hope it works well for you.
