  1. If you show up you have to let me ride your BMW! I'll Post up something if it comes together. Waiting to see what happens on the home front. I've been slowing remodelling our house one room at a time. New Paint, Hardwood floor and woodwork. So if the wife gives me some time off for good behavior, I should be up for it. Just finished the last bedroom last night except for the woodwork and I'm waiting on her to get it stained. Later
  2. I live in Sherman. How about a meet and eat Saturday? Supposed to be a high of 38. I will be riding. Spring probably better for most. Run with it and if I can make it I will be there.
  3. Those in glass houses should not be throwing stones my friend! However, you are correct. Then again they could be Butt Ugly and your statement would still be true.
  4. I'm going to talk to them again today, while I change my reservation date.
  5. Oops picture didn't take and not to sure how this one will turn out. We have 6 all inside!
  6. Here are ours
  7. Thanks for mentioning that about talking to the front desk. If you go online or to the call center they will tell you they have no rooms. Any one else getting a room let me know so I can keep track of the #. may be able to bring the price down some. Don't know what the price even is yet, but they will take your reservation. This is a decent place to stay and there is a Bob Evans right across the parking lot.

    Chaps

Before i switched to Tourmaster riding gear I had moved from Chaps to leather overpants. I felt they provided better protection, just as easy on and off and a whole lot warmer. I think leather up has them. Jay
  9. I left mine on, but only use a right side seat nut. You can only see one side at a time, so I figured only I would know.
  10. They DO have rooms, but you have to call directly. That's how I found out about the discount if we get a committment for 12 rooms. Mine is already reserved
  11. You will need to call the motel directly. Phone: (440) 988-3266. Trina is the manager They did not have a price available yet, but I'm sure its cheaper than the Oberlin Inn. Tell them you are with VentureRider.Org, attending a rally in Oberlin. They said if we could guarantee 12 rooms we could get a discount. I know of 4 rooms to be reserved. Once I know 12 rooms are filled I will call back and start negoiating a price. sorry I can't be more specific.
  12. Bumpety Bump Bump
  13. Just got off the phone with the Motel 6 where alot of us stayed last year. Their web site was showing now available rooms. However, I was able to book one, (LA we are covered:thumbsup:), If we can get a total of 12 rooms booked there they will give us a discount also. If anyone is interested, PM me and I will call back and talk to the Manager, Trina. NOTE: The gal I talked to said she thought that was Oberlin College graduation day so rooms around there go really fast Jay
  14. I hear you, its only been 6 days for me, but the prospects don't look good to ride again for some time. I go tomorrow for an MRI on my back and hip and its highly possible that I will be going under the Knife. If it will relieve some of this constant pain then let the cutting begin. Good luck with your projects, be sure to share the pics. Jay
  15. Congrats. She is a looker, Your wife too

Still say walk away from the situation. Star does have lots of rules regarding rides, but all you will do is cause hard feelings if you try to enforce them over this situation. If it was Me and my Smart Ass attitude, I would wait till the next ride, ask for the ride rules to be covered if they are not, then turn to the AH that passed you and asked him if he heard anything, has any questions or is there anything he would like you to explain to him, like NOT PASSING ONCE IN FORMATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!. :whistling:Then calmly walk back to my bike and act like it never happened
  18. He was having trouble towards the end staying awake. That's when he started taking pictures of the trees. Doesn't that worry you that your daughter falls asleep. I'm afraid I will have to manuever and he will fall:crying:

My EXACT sentiments! Just doesn't seem enjoyable. I always let those fast 1st Gen's lead. They clear out all the cops before I arrive.
  20. Yeah, but he is 11 and still building up his endurance. We still had a great time. Got some Subway sandwhiches and ate at a park along the IL river. Just enjoyed each others company.

My opinion. Don't waste your energy or time trying to talk to an Idiot! Whatever you say, isn't going to sink in anyway. However, I would have to strongly recondsider riding with the group if that individual is in it. I have found myself dropping to the back or avoiding riding with the group all together when certain people are in it. I have enough to do watching what I'm doing. Don't need someone riding my tail from behind, not maintaining a close group in cities, supposedly leading a ride then running off down the mountain considerably exceeding posted speeds, not staying up with the rider in front of them and my list can go on and on and on. I have found that about 4 bikes is about the MOST I feel comfortable riding with, two is better and they ALL better be people I have rode with before. OK.......Off my soapbox.
  22. May be Fact with regard to the colds, but the changes it temps sure bring about alot of sinus problems. My son & I both suffer from sinus headaches and infections that coincide directly with the weather changes.
  23. Hmmm?? And I thought my job was to keep you out of trouble:confused24: and make sure your dates are always correct, instead of changing with every post:whistling:
  24. That's why I have no problem with doing it I'm right there in the same sinking boat By the way, Do I know you??????
