You could be right:confused24:, but some how I don't think so. Personally, I never check my mileage. I ride because I enjoy it. Luxuries will always be around. JM2C

I have seen and road the Stratoliner with these Corbin conversions and I would take one even without the V4 Vmax engine. The Strat was very smooth. BTW this is what my money is banking on for the new Venture, but only time will tell

I agree they are great. When I did my clutc with their product, he gave me his cell phone to call on Sunday if I ran into problems. However there directions were spot on.

Bill, I hope you are wrong on the radical styling changes. I really want to get another Yamaha. I like my dealer and it would be a pain to buy from a different one around here. They are all terrible in my opinion. If however they do finally make changes and don't keep the cruiser look I will be checking out this Kawi, HD RoadGlide and the Goldwing. My criteria for a new bike will be: Personal Appeal to me Handling and Comfort Sound System Luggage capacity. Accessory availability Warranty The V-Twin doesn't bother me in the least. I had a 1100 V* and never once thought it wasn't smooth. Probably wasn't, but it was never an issue. I will be ready for a new bike in 2010/11. Should be well over 100K miles by then.

Man, I like it. I think they have hit everything on the head. Too bad they beat Yamaha to it. Can't wait to try one.

I vote for May! Maintenance Day is usually around the 1st of June. If the dates work, you can probably count on me.

Nope not that I know of. by hooking up both you will find they both are very low. I believe Cycle Gadgets may having something that will make it work, but if I remember correctly its $$$$

I look through my clearview always have and always will. I have no problems with visibility except in fog like it will be here in a little while when I leave for work. In rain I ride like I normally do except slightly slower and more deliberate. I pass semi's. The extra volume of spray actually will allow my shield to clear even better.

It sure seems that way, but it just works out like that. Thing is they may do some things free, but I've never left there paying less than $200 for something I'd been wanting anyway. So it all even's out.

Man you hit the nail on the head there!! You would have thought I'd have learned somethin' along the way wouldn't you.
-
Good for you. Wow, you are fabulous, brave and truly a man among men.

You taught me how to put a splitter in for my AUX Which in turn, taught me how to remove my fairing and I can change my windshield. But now I know 4 things. I just installed the Diamond R Light bar Mike and Teri Heaton donated for the drawing and I was fortunate enough to win. If I keep this up I may make it to 10 before I turn 50!

Good I'm glad. When do you want to go my friend? I'll see if we can work something out.
-
No problem. Just happened to be one of the 3 things I know.
-
Yes it will. Not sure about the classified stuff, but pretty sure its like you would logically think it would work.

Great to meet her. Don't know how you got so lucky to catch such a pretty woman . Tell her I'm coming next year and I expect her to take me fishing. Jay

Wanted to say thanks again to Bill and Buddy for all they did. Also wanted everyone to understand why I didn't choose to participate in the group rides. I certainly wasn't trying to be unsociable. This year my best friend AJ came with me. We have never been fans of riding in groups of more than about 4 bikes, but on top of that right after we got in at the motel we got news that a good friend we work with was in a severe accident the evening before and wasn't expected to make it(and ultimately did not). That pretty much put a big cloud over our attitudes. So...we decided to just take some seperate rides away from the group. We really enjoyed the evening socializing and I don't think it would take to much convincing to come along again. He found out what I already new, that there great people on this site. They didn't even torture him too bad about his HD RoadGlide. So, If I offended anyone or gave any of you the wrong impression I'm sorry. Thanks for letting me explain. Jay.

Visited Cycle Gadgets again this year while in Eureka Springs and as always they treated my friend and I like Gold. They are truly good people. AJ bought a PIAA driving light set for his RoadGlide which they installed on the spot at no charge. They look really great with extra visibility and great night time performance. I bought a new half helmet headset that J&M has just came out with. It can be used on ANY half helmet. Very comfortable and inconspicuous on the helmet. On top of that it is made to just slide out and off when you don't want to use it. Again, the owner Sean installed it on my helmet and showed me how easy it was to use. On top of that I had a faulty electrical connection on my bike due to my electrically challenged wiring ability, where I wired in the extra 12v powerpoint supply behind the driver seat. Told Sean about it and it less than 10 seconds he was out in the parking lot making the repair with a new plug in connection. I was more than willing to pay, but as usual he wouldn't hear of it. Remember last year he soldered an extention on my XM power supply too. Well, just wanted folks to know about them. They aren't the cheapest place for accessories, but believe me they stand behind everything 110%. Jay

I made it home just a few minutes ago and AJ has about 90 miles to his house. We only got in a light shower around Springfield MO. Great to see everyone. Later. Jay

Congrats my friend.

Heading out at 8:30 for the Springs or as soon as my friend arrives. He is an 1:45 minutes north of me. Really looking forward to hitting the road and see folks. For those going, we have an invite from Cycle Gadgets for 10:30 AM Saturday to stop by for coffee and donuts . They are really nice people and have a great selection of touring items. Never have any trouble finding something I want:cool10: I will try to remember to take pictures. Back on Sunday! J:biker:

Dale I don't think Cindy will appreciate you driving a Moped around the house.
