Ruidoso was my go to place when I was stationed in El Paso, Tx. for 2 years with the army. Really nice area.

I like it, dresses the bike up nicely.

Have seen it on 3 different machines over last 2 weeks, had different levels of success getting rid of it. got rid of it on one , most of it on another, had to replace harddrive on third one. Used Malwarebytes, and Webroot Secure Anywhere Complete {which I get off ebay for about $25. ] to get anywhere near a running pc. It shows something called File Recovery, and offers to sell it to you. Thats the one I;ve seen.

Put new pump in today, works fine. Got 2 weeks after last troubles, farthest I went was 125 miles, worked ok, went to go for ride labor day weekend , no go. Got a new one for $203, which I didn't think was that bad compared to some prices I saw on the net.

Went out, removed side cover so I could hear pump, turned on, pump worked, pressed start and it worked fine. Same thing 2 weeks ago, each time problems using spare orginal key, but using my copy key I always use, it works. Each time it happened, the key I used made a difference. go figure, huh.

thanks Eck for you note, I'll try again in the morning see what happens. For the amount of time I tried starting it with no success I should of had wet plugs when I pulled them, right. Same thing happened last week, but in the morning it started. thats why I had the plugs handy this time. May even try bypassing the pump like someone suggested. Will let you'll know how I make out.

starts under full choke runs 5 secs. shuts off. did this last week, then tried in morning ran ok. changed plugs after not starting and running after tryying all day. plugs were dry expecting them to be all wet. fuel pump, relay, where would you'll start looking.

Glad you got home alright, your trip has got my wife going again on us doing the same when she retires. shes got 2 more years to go, we can't wait. hope to meet up again some time.

Tri-wing is what I used with no rake. you have to be handy with tools. Not a simple take-off put on thing. When I was done had to call them on something and found out jigs were off when they welded up mine, that explains all the holes were off just ever so slightly which made things harder then they needed to be. Does make you feel better when done knowing you did it, and you can put your ideas in/on it as you go along. I would do it again in a heart beat.

the connecter you want has 3 wires in from rear wheel. 3 wires going to instruments. they are pink, orange/red, black/white. as far as what one you need to use you'll have to figure it out.

under left side cover, white connecter w/ 3 wires, pink is one color if I remember right.

We got home sunday, stopped off in Hyde Park, NY.. Got hit with storms the last halve of NY. But we had great time, met great people. Hope to meet all of you again soon.

both of these answers make sense to me, a young guy next door has had this bike for 2 months now and it don't start for s*** , it'll run great sometimes but he has to mess with it. I go over there and its set on pri every time. got no money for dealer.

suzuki gsx 600 ???, on gas tank shutoff there are off, pri, on, res, what does pri stand for. someone told kid next door it was for city use, on is for the highway, doesn't sound right to me.

I went to the local parts store and told them what I was doing, they gave me a book that had all car mufflers in it by length, inlet-outlet size, position of inlet-outlet, [left-right-center], and looked thur it till I found something to fit in the space I had. I had pipe bent to go around the rear axle then ran them out thur the body. In my case the mufflers were 12 in. long, and flat, kinda of quiet what I perfer.

Get well soon, Bob. Don't get all upset on having CHF. Back in '98 I was rushed to the hospital with it. I ended up with a heart valve and a pacemaker within 2 days and 15 years later I'm still freaken here. good luck to ya -
