  3. Moved snow blower and generator to back of garage and moved bikes to the front. Now for temps to stay above 60 degrees and I'm ready to go, wife needs 70 to discard the long johns. Come on summer, hurry up and get here.
  4. I'd like to get my name in there.
  5. If they were day shift people I ran into them at one time or another.
  6. I retired with 31 years there at the post office, you want a good example of wasted money. Worked at a BMC where mail is sorted to go over a large area, we did part of NY. and all new England. On holiday weekends, the post office told large mailers to deliver their large shipments on holiday weekends, at this time we workers were forced to come in on our long weekends, at holiday pay plus pay for that extra day, and on Tuesday or Wednesday following the holiday there would be no work to do. This would affect a few hundred people in our whole place. Xmas and thanksgiving too. Always amazed me as to why they did this. Had charged the mailers a cheap rate but paid us time and a half to process it.
  7. Could be the fact that they give you the flat rate boxes free to be used as a flat rate box.
  8. Been down that road a few times over the years, never in fog. Did notice on I-64 that cuts from I-81 to Richmond, in the road were small orange reflectors like on a airport runway, wife and I wondered why they were there, a couple days later we found out why, hit a heavy fog in that area and those reflectors were the only things we could see, pulled into rest area till things cleaned up. It was scary for a while.
  9. m61a1mech or something like that, from Florida if I'm not mistaken.
  10. I got the t-type on my tri-wing and they are everything Larry says they are, on the push button ones, how are they held on, by a nut on the back side ?? My t handles are held by small bolts and nuts, stainless cause there are no signs of rust after 3 summers. which are easier to replace if needed should be considered too.

They may not thought of it, but now thanks to you they are working on how to tax it somehow.
  12. Once the tool bag on the end of the 30 ft. rope leaves the ground, time for me to start heading down, if I make it that far.
  13. Email sent, early bird gets the springs, hopefully
  14. Total was 21''. still haven't plowed streets yet. had 3 4x4's stuck in front of house, they're not high enough and by time they reach my house the snow that they've been plowing without knowing it builds up and their tires are off the ground. They'll learn.
  15. Well don't come back without those pictures, you lucky guy.
  16. Miles, you say Littleton, NH., I used to go up that way in 70's-80's. A group of us built a a/frame cabin slept 15-20, in Wells River, VT. area. Camping, hunting fishing, snowmobiling, partying used that cabin a lot. Always a good time. Cabin was in West Newbury, and we passed a lot of cars during the snow storms on our machines.
  17. Looking at 15-18'' out there, didn't get what they said, but still was better closing things the way they did I guess.
  18. They have closed all the roads in New England due to this storm, never saw this. Strange not having no cars on roads at all. Hope it turns into what they are saying, nobody will ever believe them for a while. Been snowing since 10, only 5-6 ins. out there now.
  19. And whats in Chicopee, I live on the Chicopee/ Springfield line.

  22. My wife started on a Honda 600, went to a Yamaha 1100 in 2 yrs., we've gone 2 weeks at a time, most miles put on was 2500, most trips in the 1500 to 2500 mile area. The 600 didn't have enough power, she's been on the 1100 10 years now and loves it.
  23. Glad to hear you made it home, I spent 2 yrs. in El Paso, Tx., I can tell some real bad stories about south of the border. You're lucky they settled for what they took.
