  2. I did my venture as a tri-wing conversion, am happy with it but the ride is stiff cause of not having independent suspension. did get a wing with csc conversion, ride is completely different with csc independent suspension.
  3. Ruffy, glad to hear it make the trip ok, and that you're happy with it. Pleasure to have helped you out.

  8. I'd help get it to PA. or WNY area if need be.
  9. on the robolinux it says to install with a hard line internet connection so that it can load what drivers it may need easier.
  10. if the roads there are as bad as the ones here I'll be starting it in the garage. roads are not rideable around here at all.
  11. I can help you out.
  12. on the today show, they said it snowed in Buffalo 26 out of 28 days in February this year. that's awful, I can see why you hate snow.
  13. On that old HD, there is a adapter you can buy that enables you to connect a HD to a usb port and access it as a external HD, then drag photos, docs, music and such to the pc c: drive. thus saving important stuff. about $15.
  14. Wife has that setup, the part he is holding is the connecter that plugs into the helmet connection. is that what you wanted to know. go to sierra.com found the headset as part of a combo deal w/cb but not separate, must be able to get it separately.
  15. I went with Robolinux, doing it in a clean install worked real well. Not going to put any windows on it for now, learning my way around for now. Self taught on windows and make a little money fixing windows for people now. Linux don't seem so hard, I'll be relying on you 2 for help if needed. later
  16. Well I joined the Linux crowd, wasn't hard just put 120 gb. harddrive in that I had laying around, took windows ones out and off to the races I was. Does work fast for sure, in my desktop that I don't use alot so it can stay there and I'll mess with it on and off. Will keep you updated on my wanderings for sure.
  17. think I'll do the new hard drive way, it'll be easier to mess with it that way. And not hurt your windows. I know my way around windows but Linux is all new to me.
  18. Oh, great, blame things on me. I've been watching things all along. And I learn some, going to mess around with that Robolinux some. Ran it from disc already, but had a little trouble getting out of it, had to hard shutdown it. Going to leave it alone till I got more time. Will read on website more.
  19. I'm gotta give it a shot
  20. With a wrist band you get free americade parking, town street parking is still extra.
  21. for a short time just pay as you go, $10 or so to do venders area, and the rest of the time just take in the sites for free. I'm doing almost the same as you, but going to MD on wed. Going to stay down around Saratoga, rooms a little cheaper till wed. on. Over in Rutland, VT. rooms are cheaper too, a lot stay there too.
  22. I got it figured out on how to get to the place about a hour before I was due to go home, they did treat us well, put a bunch of chairs out front for our socially chat party out front. Certainly had a good time chatting out front at night, there are a few here that can attest to that I'm sure.
  23. That's how I took them to be ,too. Wifes friend was there I bet. He works the tshirt and hat area that you can buy for Sr. to sign during the autograph sessions. Bet Sr. was something back in his drinking days.
  24. Saw him 2 weeks ago at our local bike show, this guy and his son my wife grew up with drive the truck for OCC for the last 7-8 years. Met him and the sons a few years back when he took me back stage to meet them. Other then all the stuff they do fighting and such they're not a bad bunch, if you ask me.
