I see a few of these being sold, looks like they come from the factory.
-
its not how close they are to you, are they any good. you want to be able to pick up your trike and not have to go back and have them fix what they should have done the first time.

my wife rides a vstar 1100 for the last 40k miles, our longest ride was 2500 miles, a ton of 1000 mile weekends, and she is quite happy with it.

I did a look see for a guy from Fl. on a bike here in Ma. that he wanted, saw nothing wrong with it, he bought it over the phone and had it shipped to him and was very happy with it. I was nervous that he was spending 10k on my word but he was very happy with it, saved him trouble from wasting a trip up here for nothing. Happens all the time on this site, riders helping riders, glad to be of help when I can.

Some of us are over to that place we stayed at a couple of years ago. Quality Inn, Elyria, Oh. I still laugh at our BS sections in front of that place.

Don started this site on Yamaha Ventures and it has brought us all together with a common interest. That has since been opened up to some getting other brands of bikes. But we still come here to be with our friends and don't really care what everyone rides, Thank you Don, I'm sure everyone feels likewise, don't let one person thoughts cause you grief . I'm not good on writing things like this, hope you understand what I'm trying to say.

Looking at the manual for that radio you got 2 controls for volume to the head sets, a flat dial type one on top of radio, book says A. Auxiliary Audio Volume—Controls auxiliary audio/input volume to the headset/ headsets. , and one on outside ring of on/off switch , it says C. On/Off CB and Intercom Volume Control—In the inward position the knob turns the entire unit on and off and controls the CB volume. In the pulled-out position, this knob controls the intercom volume. For Solo Rider Use: the intercom volume should be turned down completely (counter-clockwise). you could have it set for intercom, and need it set for cb. I got the manual here. http://www.jmcorp.com/pdf/JMCB-2003B-ManualMultiLing09-2010.pdf

To me if your using your headset with the intercom mode on the radio and it works both incoming and out going, the only difference would be the cb mode of your radio, shouldn't this radio be the problem if you go out going fine but nothing coming in, your headset doesn't receive a signal from the radio.

is this the same problem that was happening at bongobob's in july, have you ever had full use of it.

I've stayed in White Plains, NY. and took train [subway] into the city a couple of times. Some hotels will shuttle you over to subway station so you could leave bike at hotel. DO NOT RIDE INTO CITY, its dangerous even if you know your way around.
