Does anyone use the gloves alone, without the vest/jacket, etc.? I was thinking about hippo hands too. My hands are the one part of me that gets cold beyond the comfort range that is acceptable to me. I was trying to imagine running the cord from the gloves to ??? I think normally they plug into the jacket/vest, right? I'm looking for suggestions.

As some of you know, I have a problem,,,, I know what you are thinking, but this is a new one. I ride a 2014 Spyder and installed JMCB 2003 for a CB and intercom. The intercom works fine, and the CB broadcasts just fine. Now if we get 2 CBs close together I can hear the other, if they are more than 4ft apart I can't hear the other person. I can hear a tapping on their mic, but no voice comes through. Now hear is the next problem then. I contacted JM corp and they would like me to try to use one of their headsets. I use the Edsets with the proper cord, but they were wondering if I could try one of theirs. SO!!!! anybody in the area have a set they could lend me??

Boy, I get a newer bike and I seem to be on the site a lot more. Go figure. I had a chatterbox tandem pro HJC-50 that I used on my 1st gen but the 2nd gen has a built in intercom/radio. Does anyone know or if it is possible to have an adapter cord that goes from the chatterbox (looks like 7 pin) to a 5 pin setup?

Do they make an adapter cord that will go from a standard earplug connector that go to the AUX jack of my '99??? Male on both ends. It's probably the same one everyone else is using to plug in their IPods into the system, and if it is, where do I find one??

In case anyone hasn't picked up on it. The 5 pin connector for the headsets on the RSV uses the same plug as the old 5 pin DIN PC mouse connector. That is the larger mouse plug used on the old AT computers. So it wouldn't be to hard to fabricate a Y adapter if someone really needed to. Cut off an old mouse cord for the male end and use a DIN to ps2 patch cord for the female end. Mike

I'm leaving for a trip Sat. morning and I don't trust my HID light any more, so I'm puting the old Silverstar back in. Well, I took the HID lightbulb out, and I can't find the power cord for the headlight to reinstall the Silverstar. I thought I just left hanging when I put the HID in. I know this sounds crazy, but I can't see it anywhere. Where would the cord be coming from? I will be greatful for any help? Thanks

I commute on the bike and am off and on several times a day. I find the headset cord a pain and I go through a couple of them a year. Does anyone make a bluetooth system that would work with the existing radio system? I'm thinking of something like a bluetooth transmitter dongle that could plug into the bike's original headset connector and a reciever that would mount in helmet. I would like to eliminate the headset cord. Maybe I should patent that idea! Dennis

Received your payment, and waiting to meet so we can share that beer. Did your cord arrive yet? Looking forward to meeting some day.

Spent the night With my daughter Ashley and husband Coby at Conemaugh in Johnstown, Pa were she was taken by ambulance after a ultra sound indicated that the cord was wrapped around the baby's neck 4 times. Was later told the last weeks U S showed the cord being wrapped 3 times but did not tell her. They have diagnosed her with preeclampsia which she had early signs of and they had been testing her for two weeks before. Her blood pressure is high, too much protein in the urine, her platelets are too low and they are giving her magnesium for that. That being said, the Dr's. are trying to delay things until this evening with hopes the lungs will develop more with the help of yet another IV (steroid) added to the 5 others. This is her first pregnancy and she and her husband are frightened. They are prepared to do an emergency C if momma or baby have too much distress. They do need a lot of prayers! Regards Dave

I'm looking for the little rubber holder that sits on the gas tank that holds the cord for the headset. Anyone have one they'd be willing to part with?

I posted this earlier but it didn't seem to go through. So, I'll try again. I have the Yamaha headset for 3/4 helmets. They are 1 1/2 years old and I now have a loose connection in my helmet. It is where the cord from the bike attaches to the side of the helmet. I most times now have to jiggle the connection to get the mic and speakers to work. I haven't tried pulling it apart as I figure that will be a winter project. It is a really poor design as the cord and sticks out at the bottom of the helmet. (I really don't like Yamaha accessories) Has anyone had this problem and how did you fix it? I ride an 07 Midnight. Thanks, John
