  1. can't remember his name but there is a guy who lives in that area on this forum if I remember right.
  2. My plans have changed, need to see dr. for blood work Friday, and Linda will be around on the weekend so we'll be riding some together. We go to the big easy on Tuesday, so we'll riding for the last weekend together, Linda quits when temps. drop to 50's .
  3. I'll know more by Thursday, so don't lock in meeting spot yet.
  4. See in my case I have to stay equal to or ahead of people cause they are supposed to keep up with the Joneses not the Freebirds is what I tell her.
  5. I told the wife Freebird got me thinking of it, I got a deposit on a '12 Goldwing trike with 3300 miles on it. Gonna keep my venture trike too, and I'm not into boats so the wife don't have too worry about that. Boy they are sure a nice riding bike, wife noticed it too. Got to spend weekend looking at extras now.
  6. Anyone who buys it from here I'll make copies of my instruction book on assembling the kit, and send them to whoever buys it. They'll help in maintaining it for sure.
  7. With that chrome piece that someone was mentioning, I would say that it is a older tri-wing kit, I saw one with it this summer, and talked to the guy and that's how I learned that. One difference in that one and mine was the air bags were different, other than that the whole trike for less than the cost of my kit, I'd look at it. It also looks like a neater job of putting it together than mine.
  8. Tom, do you have a favorite flower you want sent to your room in the hospital when RR gets done with you.
  9. I looked at it, its a tri-wing for sure, as someone said not a comfortable ride but its a dependable ride, don't ever have trouble with mine.
  10. PM sent
  11. I sort of remembered him talking about it, my wife remembers it well. Seems to have pushed the place into the limelight . Going to stop there when I get into that area.
  12. You Toledo people, heard about a place called Tony Packos this week. Do they have good hot dogs as they say.
  13. I'll look tomorrow that maybe one of the last pieces I got left.
  14. My wife and I had a good time also. RR was on her best behavior , it must be Big Tom that starts all the trouble.
  15. My feelings would be that if Pioneer wants to combine another group with our group and sponsor both of the groups on the same weekend lets do it. Both of the groups have the same interests, and I see both of the groups benefiting from a combined weekend rally. That's how I would look at it.
  16. I got a friend that buys them in FL. over the winter and brings them back to MA. for resale. Got to drive one back to MA. a couple of times, once I got in it, it wasn't a bad little ride. Always liked the model you got, it was the nicest one to me.
  17. Wife got Friday off, so we'll be on road early. Still under drs. orders so we'll be driving there. Looking forward to the weekend away, first all summer without medical concerns. hope to see everyone there.
  18. I enjoy watching the people there, always take the train into the city. When its dark I'm outa there for sure, the stuff I see during the day scares me, at night I don't even want to be nowhere near the place. Watched a bag lady get a half cup of coffee from a trash barrel, then a paper from another, a half eaten sandwich from another, sat down drank her coffee, read the paper, and ate her sandwich right in the middle of grand central station on thanksgiving day one year. I will never forget that one.
  19. Back in my army days, 69-71 I was trained on the Vulcan, it was a armored personal carrier with a Vulcan mounted on it. A lot of fire power in a small package.
  20. Wife and I are planning on attending, we missed MD and WNY mini rally due to my health but that appears to be behind me. Even if my wife makes me drive there.
  21. If I didn't have a weak heart I'd stand up for you Tom, otherwise you're on your own.
  22. mom+dad b2 are from that area if I'm not mistaken, or close by I'm sure they would help out. I spent a week there 2 years ago, seemed like a nice area to explore.
  23. They are super people for sure.
  24. I'm in Harrisburg, Pa. now at Star Days, yamahas answer to Hondas wing ding. There are a lot of ventures here. Was talking to 2 guys from Syracuse this morning, turned them on to ventureriders.org and your WNY rally in august, hope they come they were nice guys.
