There is about 5 miles on construction on hiway16 between glendive and sydney down to 2 lanes and about 2 miles of driving on hard pack clay surface, but no delays. There is also some heavy construction between Belfry and Billings on 72 that was almost unpassable on a bike but youre not going that way so you should be ok. brian

that lil black box on top of your battery is your fusebox, some people have had issues with the old style tabs that hold in the glass fuses getting loose, so they replaced the fusebox with a newer holder that uses plugin fuses. Check with Skydoc in here he sells a kit with instructions to do the upgrade. Brian -
last girlfriend had that trailer and it was great and simple to camp with, she loved it and I was amazed how much space it had. Her solution was to just find some medium height rubbermaid style bins that bungee'ed to the top of the trailer for extra storage. Hers also had some 3 or 4 inch high x 12 in wide x 30in long deep pull out trays mounted under the trailer for stuff like tent pegs, marshmallow sticks etc. Brian

I got a ubolt attached to a ram mount and attached that to the round part on the handlebars, kinda between the grips and the square aluminum bars. Ill try and get a pic later. brian

Anybody have a spare....
friesman replied to Keemez's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Why not take the tape deck out and create a small box in that spot for storage. You can jumper the connections so the sounds system doesnt need it pretty easily. Brian -
Yamaha hasnt honoured the warranty on items purchased in the US and brought into Canada ,.....ever! So I am thinking its up to the individual company to set their own rules on warranty. Anyone that buys a US bike can take it back into the US for warranty but in Canada the dealers wont do the work under warranty. Brian
