  4. There are so many good roads, trying to put them in the best order of 1 to 15 is impossible. I have ridden 7 of the roads on the list and they are all great, but I have ridden hundredths of other roads that were just as good. I love to ride new to me roads. I am having my right hip replaced next Thursday. I should have about 3 months down time to be looking at maps and planning a trip for late spring. I will be looking for some good suggestions from you all. Earl

  6. Yamaha paints on the color paint, then applies the decal and then clear coats. You can buy the decal from Yamaha, but they are very expensive. Earl

  9. You will need the four wire switch for cruise. I have taken the brake switch apart on my 86, cleaned and resoldered the wires. Earl

  12. I have the one from Carolina Leather. Its well made, but I had to drill three holes in the windsheld to mount it. I will try to get pics posted to night. Earl

  15. You may have a bad crankshaft sensor. The 85-87 1200 have sensors on the front of the engine. They are located behind the timing belts. I think one senor is for the front cylinders and one for the rear cylinders. Earl
