So it was 25 degrees when I left the house this morning. Dang it was cold. Bike started no problems in the garage, but got me to thinking when I leave work, how cold is too cold to get it started? I have had a couple of times where it started ok, but idled very low for a few minutes (at full choke).

I had Discount Tire order my BFG Radial T/A. Had to wait two days, but they installed it for me as well. May want to check with some local places. Tell them it is for either your trike or your sidecar.

Metzeler 880 corporate irresponsibility sends me to darkside

Will it work? Of course. Can you find the right size? That's the question. -
Every time I drag my floorboards my heart skips a beat. Traction is definately not a issue with a Ct.

I've never had a high speed wobble on mine. Then again I drive the speed limit.

You can always become a darksider...

Hnadle bar Adjustment
tsigwing replied to starkruzen's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
Check here about the part number. I've got them on my 05, gives you about 2" more pullback and makes a world of difference. You will have to drill a small hole in the bars for the throttle sleeve. The stock bar weights won't work either. I re-used my existing cables, but did have to reroute them under the triple tree. -
I still scrape pegs on mine, and it still scares the crap out of me every time it happens. Have you seen [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYhkCA_JwJM]YouTube - SPORT Riding on the Darkside - Triumph Rocket III[/ame]on youtube?

don't know if it has a bigger contact patch, but MINE definately has more traction
-
the tip over point (when the bike is heading towards horizontal) looked a little unsettling.
-
Will do it on the car/truck in a pinch but prefer to have it patched. Have always plugged the bike tires and have no worries about it.

Having to permanetly remove your tailgate is a deal killer for me. That and the bed of the truck is dang near useless now.

Time for stator change????

I've had the passing lamps on since my 05 was 6 months old. For the past three years I have run heated grips and heated vest in the winters. Still on my original battery and have never had any problems. -
I've got em in my front and rear tires. I like em and plan on using them from now on.
-
Everything is included and it is super easy. Somewhere on this site I have pictures of what you will have left over when you are done (in case your paranoid like me).

wonder if dynabeads would help with an out of round condition?
-
If you have a Discount tire near you, check them out. Had them order my BFG Radial T/A for my "sidecar" they did and mounted it to my wheel no problem.
-
Took about a 100 to seat my BFG Radial TA. Asked Discount Tire if that was unusual and they didn't think it was any big deal.

I attached my (non-factory) lights to my turn signal bar using a 1" (?) chrome clamp. -
