  1. dontcha just love the simple free fixes to a seemingly expensive repair? now go buy a lottery ticket!
  2. Have you tried to gently tap the bottom of the carberator's with a rubber mallet?
  3. I used all of stock cables which is why you have to reroute them. No big deal.
  4. I did mine and it wasn't hard, but I did have to buy a brake bleeder (which I wanted anyways) since I had to disconnect the front lines under the triple tree and re-route it. Had to reroute the throttle cable as well. It is a bit tricky with getting them off and back on. If you have any mechanical ability, do it yourself. You will have to decide on what to do about the end weights. You cannot re-use the stock ones unless you do some more fabrication.
  5. I've got the BFG on my 05, nothing to report other than it rides great, sticks like glue and loses much less air over time.
  6. I run about 32 lbs when solo, crank it up to 35 lbs for 2 up. No issues so far, been about 9 months on it (don't know the mileage).
  7. 2 or 3 years ago I bought the cheapest HP laserjet I could find. I REALLY love that printer. Comes on nearly instantly and prints a ton of pages. Changed the toner out once. Liked it so much I bought my daughter a color laser HP. It is just a nice.
  8. If you read what goose posted SOME manufacturers DO state to reverse the mounting if you put a rear tire on the front.
  9. how many miles on the car tire? if you just installed it, make sure you air it up close to 40 or so for a bit and then air it down slowly until it feels comfortable to you. I had to play with my pressure a bit before it felt perfect. mine at 32 lbs is great.
  10. they work for me quite well. removed the stock weights for both the front and rear tires at the last replacement and put in the dynabeads. no vibration on either the front or rear. YMMV check out this video, for what its worth [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eq263AYgyYg]YouTube- DynaBeads demo video by Evolution Cycles[/ame]
  11. Shop around every year. I was with Progressive for quite a few years and every year my rates would rise a little bit (for no reason), finally had enough and shopped around and got a much lower rate.
  12. I wonder if the tire could have a broken belt?
  13. this is my 2nd season with my grip heaters. they work ok, but when it is 25 outside, nothing really helps. even with grip heaters and my heated vest, my hands are hurting when i get to work in the morning. oh well.
  14. Similar in weight to my Time Out Camper with all my stuff and AC unit. I can definately tell it is back there, still working out the weight distribution though.
  15. so how out of spec were the valves?
  16. So how did that massive rig tow? What did it do to your gas mileage? Any idea of total weight of trailer and stuff as well as the tongue weight?
  17. YMMV
  18. 1. No wobble for me. I ordered my BFG from my local discount tire and they mounted it on my wheel for me no problem. I have never been above 80 or so though, and I do run dyna beads. 2. Still there and will be until it gives out. I think the wobble could be from a bunch of things including front tire pressure, steering head bearings, rear tire pressure.
  19. I've got them in the front and the rear and won't ever run without them. I actually forgot they were in there.
  20. How many miles on the rear? I would take the pressure up to the max for the first few hundred miles then start dropping by two pound increments. Also be sure your front tire is at the right pressure.
  21. Get one with Windows 7 and a camera. We've got several in our family, a dell and a samsung. the biggest problem is the small screen and no mouse.
  22. welcome and enjoy
  23. seems you could do worse than Tiger's last 15 years...
  24. oh I'm riding, just curious. Haven't had a problem with it not starting, but immediately after starting, at full choke it will idle down for a few seconds then idle up.
  25. Maybe I should blame the guy who adjusted my floats...
