  1. OH YES BEEG BOI ME LIKE!! Me Love U LOOOONGGG TIME!!!
  2. There is a company called Big Ear that you can usually find at the bigger motorcycle rally's. They do form fitted ear buds like race car drivers (NASCAR). I purchased a set of form fitted earplugs to see if I could handle the buds in my ear. They have my molds on file to make the buds when I am ready. A little pricey but I have heard they work great and are also ear plugs as well as the ear buds. I can say this. After a long ride I feel more refreshed if I wear the plugs. http://www.bigearinc.com/Products/BE-1C.aspx Cable that lets you use the ear buds along with original mic. http://www.bigearinc.com/Products/BE-CA25.aspx
  3. Great Pics looked like a great day.
  4. Does the bike want to follow the lines/cracks in the road? If so I would say it's your steering head bearings needing to be tightened. Vibrations at 30MPH usually indicate steering head bearings that are loose. At least it does for the RSV.
  5. As with any social media there are going to be issues. The best way to avoid them is to not join, but for those who have joined know that NOTHING on the Internet is safe and I MEAN NOTHING. If you are going to join one of these sites limit what personal information you post in order to safeguard yourself. I for one have recently joined FB and can honestly say I am glad I did. I have found, and been found by people I haven't seen or heard from in 30 years. I have taken so many trips down memory lane in the last 2 months and enjoyed each and every one. I have been in touch with my family more in the past two months than in the past 10 years. Not that that is always a good thing. BTW I have more personal information on this site than on my FB page.
  6. That's a pretty good idea. I have seen these systems at Autozone before if I am not mistaken.
  7. UUUMMMM!!! I'm telling!! Good Idea Jeff.
  8. OUTFRIGGINGSTANDING!!!!! Jeff. We are happy for the both of you. It's about time you started getting paid cash instead of DQ to work on these things. Seriously, good luck in your endeavor. I have the utmost confidence that you will succeed.:sign green with env:sign green with env:sign green with env:sign green with env:sign green with env
  9. Facebook says she is from Toronto so I'm thinking it is her. What a shame. I hope that catch that SOB.
  10. That's the biggest problem. The bike tends to become un-collected if you make the slightest correction in cornering, or hit a bump in the corner. Other than that, it's best to avoid bumps in the road as best you can. Won't really hurt anything but your spine.
  11. Yeah, Earl doesn't want any of this gang. He is going to keep to the ocean where he belongs.
  12. Jason, it was great meeting you yesterday. Hopefully we can all get together in the not so distant future. I will admit it though, you did meet a few of the crazier members, but there are still a few more out there.
  13. I wonder why that is? HMMMMM!!!! Could it be that you are the mastermind behind us trouble makers..... I uh mean the trouble makers?
  14. I have done the Jason Mod to both my 99's and yes it does make it idle a little rough. I noticed about a 2 MPG increase in both bikes, and better low end response. Others have had varying degrees of good, bad, and little or no change. I can only attest to my experience. Now the ONLY thing that made a very noticable increase in fuel mileage was a "ColorTune", followed by a "CarbTune" I have had the CarbTune done and noticed an increase in mileage, but the ColorTune made a significant increase. I'm talking close to 10 MPG. Went from low 30's MPG to low 40's MPG
  15. So sorry to hear the news. Glad she is doing well. We will keep your family in our prayers.
  16. It's been awhile since I have been on the site. I am saddened to hear that Lowel is having health problems. I have met him several times and he is one heck of a great guy. Lowel, I hope things get better soon and you can get to traveling the miles as you so love to do. Lord knows you need it with that Skunk Stink thing going on. Take care buddy, Wayne and Brandy
  17. They are pretty cool, I just couldn't afford to buy one. Would love to have one though.
  18. If he survives he will wish he didn't. It's one thing for a young dumb Marine (I can say that, I was one) to do something that stupid and a whole different thing for a Staff NCO. More than likely he won't see 20 for retirement and he definitely won't be a Gunny much longer.
  19. Sorry to here about her misfortunes. Pain sucks any way you slice it. Hope she feels better soon.
  20. Hey David, wanted to let you know we really enjoyed ourselves. Eye candy was abundant on the boardwalk that's for sure. The boats were nice too. We appreciate you two looking us up while you were in the area. Let us know the next time you're down and we can get together again. The pictures turned out great, excepting of course the ones with me in them.
  21. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I can tell you with out a doubt I know when I drop a cylinder. It's not as noticeable in the lower gears but in 4th and 5th the bike will seriously hesitate and not want to accelerate. You will also start to smell raw gas. The exhaust pipes will also be cool as mentioned. In answer to the question about a carb sync done wrong making the difference. Well I imagine it could be part of the problem. I was getting low 30's and did a carb sync and got into the mid 40's.
  22. Is the CC actually turning off or just slowing down? If it's disengaging then their could be a few things to try one being the clutch or brake lever and see if they are causing it to shut off. You might also have to check/adjust the throttle cable because it attaches to the CC under the tank of the left side.
