Anyone ever heard of a royal star super tour? Some guy is advertising one on craigs listhttp://elmira.craigslist.org/mcy/2852599000.html says its a 1400cc collectors edition. sound like a scam to me.

Does mounting a rear tire on the front change the handling? Or just last longer?

I think I,m going to stay with the 235/60 15 radials. I think thats the only tire size motortrike recommends.

The BF Goodrich must be the tire Motortrike uses at inital install. I have the same tires on my trike. It has a dunlop 421 on the front, I think. The front is in good shape but the rear are worn in the center. Probably been on since it was triked. Guess its due for new rear tires.

Go to classifieds, I have my 99 posted for sale, it is shown with white walls. Just wondering how is it you have a 99 that is green?? i thought silver and gray and maroon an gray was the only colors on the 99's??

apparently this is true. I read on a HD site that from sometime in 05 and only on some models they installed cats in the mufflers for a couple years then switched to putting them in the pipes. So if you find a set of 2010's or newer mufflers your good to go. But you should check for the cats just to be sure. -

I just installed a set of 05 RK's on the 99 rsv trike, I didn't see any honey combing in either muffler.Did the RK have a cat converter in the mufflers or the pipes? -
Today Robin and I meet up with several members from Virginia and the Carolina's. We cut our Washington dc visit short and headed down to the land of warmth. We took in the International Motorcycle show in Charlotte NC. Friday night, then hooked up with ETCSWJOE,the KID, SYLVESTER, 1JOERANGER and family at there meet and eat. We enjoy meeting everyone and hope to see all you all again.

Up date on our little vaction. we're not in DC anymore. Museums were getting boring, so we followed the sun shine. Lets just say temps were near 80 yesterday:rasberry:. Bad news, we have to head back later today.

How do you lower a 2nd Gen Venture

I had a lowering kit on my 99, took it off. didn't like the way it handled. Go with the seat mod first. then lowering kit if you must.
