Putting the finishing touches on my new motorcycle garage today and thought to myself I really need some music in here,since the xm radio in the Venture won't pickup in the garage thats out.Went into the storage barn and found an old stereo system that had been stored away for about 20 YEARS.Hooked it up and bingo!!!!!!Music!!!!!! Then I realized something, it matched my Venture........oh yeah......they both have cassette decks on them.Bad news!!!! I got rid of all my cassettes years ago. Oh well.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a site or forum that tells which parts and accessories are interchangable between motorcycle models? Such as what Harley parts fit the RSTD or Venture. I know some parts/ accessories in the Yamaha line fit each other. It would be a big help if this info were in one place. If anyone has mixed or matched parts please let us know. Thanks

I am looking for either a slightly used foam part of the drivers seat or a pillowtop seat. Was working on mine and kind of messed it up. Was able to temp fix it for riding but would like to have something better. If someone has a matched pair and I need to buy them both, I will contemplate it. Thanks for any help, chuck

Man I am so bummed. Had a dumb thing happen in my eye, went to the dr and here I have a torn retina. Repared it with laser blasts (55 of them1) but no lifting bending straining for 6 weeks! I asked about riding. He got right testy about it - bottom line, no riding for 6 weeks. Man. I guess this is better than having complications, but I am still bummed. This means I will have time to have that new Bushtec trailer that I am winning from the Kitchener rally color matched to the bike and all before I go pick it up. Quick question. Anyone ever run 404's on their Venture on VR...??? I've read so much about Avon Venoms , and am really thinking about order some new rubber for my 83 VR this week, but also have read enough about some bikes having that squirrley feeling above 80. Have not been able to find a matched set of Elite III's Had just thought about the old 404's for a bit. Thought I'd ask the experts. Most riding is solo touring, but do ride some two up around town.
