OK, then I guess the Flanders bars are the only way to go. which means I will need longer cables. Guess I'll have to save my$$ for the Flanders and cables. Thanks for the info.

Are you saying they have better clearence with the black cover?

Anyone have experience with these riser extentions? I believe i read somewhere that the risers will hit the plastic ignition cove when the bars are turned to they're full stops. Is this a fact? Is their a way to fix this?

Sound like it's filled with air and needs a good bleeding. Do you own a brake bleeding tool? If not this maybe a good time to get one, it will make bleeding easier. If your doing it the old way by pumping the handle it can take forever to get all the air out.

12 BUCKS! thats outrageous! But worth evey penny. welcome aboard. Straight jackets are not included, you have to bring your own.:rotfl: Be afraid, be very afraid.

I believe the factory set needle valves your refer to have a brass cover over them, so you probable did mess with them. You would have to pry the covers off with a pair of pliers. Others here know more about this then I.

I use 1/4-20 Nylon wing nuts I picked up at lowes for around $.50. Just cross thread them on the metric stud. They will not vibrate off. At that price a keep an extra set in the trunk in case I lose one.

Try removing the tank and pull apart all the plug conections under the tank. dry them out, use some dielectric grease in them. do the same with all other plugs on the bike. like the connections behind the side covers and the lower fairing.

started working on the Trike today. weather was in the high 40's today so I figured what the heck. Wasn't to bad in the garage. I moved the trunk back, it was really easy Took the 6 hold down bolts out, move it to the rear bolt holes, retightened. Took about 15 minutes. I have the same set up for the trunk as the 2 wheel version RSV. Then I figured since the weather is still pretty good I might as well change out the muffler. This took the rest of the day. Went from a set of noisy Sampson fish tails to a very nice sounding set of 05 RK's. A lot quietier, but still has a nice low rumble and a good bark when you get on it. My neighbors must have thought I was nuts, cause by the time I finished the install the weather went to heck. Temp dropped into the 30's with snow flurries, but there I was, riding up an down the road making noise. Sure felt good, even if it was for only a couple of minutes.

OK, here's what you do...wait till the ship is out to sea, go out on deck take a good look around, take several deep breaths of that sea air and all will be well. repeat as needed. Now, HAVE A GOOD TIME:dancefool:

Are you the original owner? Was it ever layed down? Just thinking a minor accident could cause problems like this.

I don't believe he has one for the RSV.
