For the last couple of years, I have been trying on every half helmet in every shop I go in that sells them, and I finally found one that actually feels good and fits well. I've worn it all summer and like it very much. as far as ventilation, it's not perfect, but not bad. A keeper as far as I'm concerned. And the zip on attachment that will cover your ears works well and does the job. (in cold weather) It's a Nolan. Steve

Timely, They have been having quite a December over there, with all of the snow and cold. This guys little girl is just finishing a semester in Scotland and is scheduled to fly home tomorrow morning. As of a few minutes ago, her flights are still on schedule. If not, she does have plan B. Steve

Ruffy, I have a friend who has had both knees done, once, years ago the old way, and once a couple years ago the new way. Much less intrusive, (the new way) and healing time is much shorter. He wished that he hadn't waited so long to have the second one done. Have it done and get back to riding, The best of luck you and your new knee. Steve

Seems to me that the sellers have always been like that on ebay. It's the buyers that have to beware. Any buyer that doesn't look at and consider shipping as part of the final price is gong to have a problem. Good lesson learned. Steve

I think that you are going to find that there really is no BEST, but a lot of GPS's that we prefer. I would say that a garmin would be, in my opinion, the best manufacturer though. I have a 765T also and have nothing bad to say about it, in fact I'm just learning it. The garmin nuvi models, have most of the features that the Zumos have, but hundreds of $ less. Now, you can't spray a fire hose at them, but in 5 seconds it can be off of your handlebars and in your pocket. When I was looking it was the BUDGET that had a big influence. Good luck, Steve

New Ethanol Sta-Bil

I went down to ACE last weekend to get a new bottle of stabil and saw this new, ethenol stabil, but I only use it to put the bikes/boat away for the winter, and only use non-ehtenol gas to boot, so, for me, no need. Jeff, all Kwik trips have premium,no ethenol gas. Just a heads up. Steve
