  1. Enjoy that new ride and ride safe Steve
  2. I'll play-----------Some type of fence stretcher
  3. Hey Earl, the bike left, not me.😀 I hope your feeling better and stronger each day! I did tell Scott that I got the clutch set up from you. And when I rode with the Venturers a guy bought one of those F6B Goldwings. What a great bike!
  4. Yeah, your right about that. Reminds me to tell him about the Squidley RK muffler brackets. 😀 I rode with someone, thinnk it was a Venturer who had a Honda F6B Goldwing. Loved that bike
  5. Have mixed feelings about this 😕! The only thing good about it is that it is going to my son, and I do feel good about that. Well, it's going to a new home. My oldest son is coming to pick it up today. Lots of smiles and miles on that thing for sure. Can't believe how much "stuff" that I have that goes with that bike. I do know that a big chunk of garage floor space will be open. SO----------- I bought a 2004 Harley Fat Boy! Yeah I know, I'll post a pic when I take one. 😀 I still have the XS650 chopper, 02 Bonny and the 09 650 Vstrom though, so the garage is still Lookin good. And of course I did tell him about this place, although he seems to not be forum guy.
  6. Holy cow RR, that sounds like something that would happen to me. Anyways, glad you tow are moving forward with this GR will be riding soon. BTW, don't you think that YOU should be GR at this point? 😉
  7. Got it, thanks Dealer was the same price - One dealer said two to three weeks the other said out of print.
  8. I'm looking for a factory service manual for a 2005 RSTD, not an online type. You know, one made out of paper that you can read.😉
  9. I have a set of slash cut road kings on my 05 RSTD. @Squidly used to make brackets years ago so I'd see if he agrees that the dimensions above will work, but you do need a bracket of some sort to bolt them on. I believe mine came off of an 06. I love the sound, not too harsh, but like has been said a nice rumble. Mine did have the catalytic converter, but I drilled it out. I also drilled out the baffles. Good luck
  10. Happy Birthday Don The good part is: your still having them
  11. Riding alone, with a passenger, and with riding mates----------------------each one 100% different from each other. First I'd say to figure out which one it is then take some shorter trips before you embark on that big trip.
  12. That was an amazing write - up! and no doubt experience to say the least. Thanks for that and now you just finish healing up I meant to add that you should really share that with the staple remover lady. and after reading that I thought for sure you were going to say that you now have a staple remover in your tool arsenal.
  13. I met Kevin a number of times and he will be sorely missed. RIP
  14. Skullcandy ear buds is what I have been using under my helmet for years and work great. I always got them at Target. around $10
  15. Hey Earl, I'm so glad to hear that you are improving each day. The next thing you know you'll be back in the shop. Just so fortunate it was found and corrected!
  16. I have a 2005 RSTD and have been all over the country on that thing. I'm 74 and the weight doesn't really affect much as it is low. As far as trading for that honda-------------Not in a million years. You've got a GREAT bike! Ride on
  17. Hey Earl, Wishing you the best and by now surgery is over and hope you heal quickly.
  18. Looks great Don. What you do and how you do it never ceases to amaze me 👍
  19. I live on a small rural road that was chip sealed this summer. I hate this friggen road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully this winter the plows will plow all the loose crap off.
