Squid, I'm glad to hear that you both came out of a bad situation, relatively OK. Could have been worse as you know. Good luck shopping for a new bike. Are you going to be able to salvage any of your acc. off of the old bike? Steve

Thanks Owen, I just checked my 765T and it also is not on the list. And if is was------I'd see a flaming GPS on my handlebar? Steve

You didn't get a pic with Danielle? What's wrong with you man? Hey, how do you think I felt? They were filming and the doors were shut. I was lucky that Frank came over to say hi. But what a great ride down. And that steel bridge on hwy 52? WOW! Steve

Be sure to take the drive pins out and clean and grease them also. You have to remove the clip first. Steve -

Call the guy that changed your tire. Something is not right. Steve -
I'm gonna have to check out the "Land of Dan" Sounds like a dream ride vacation to me. Actually I went through there once on a family vacation, and I bought a turkey box call from a guy that had a sign out by the road. I remember the small curvy roads well. Steve

My idea is probably too simple but, you each got a pair of USED pipes that you wanted. So each of you pay shipping one way. You asked for fair? Steve

GPS Mounting & Connecting on an RSTD
eagleeye replied to sadicarnot's topic in GPS, Audio, Electronics
I have had a tomtom on my RSTD and just last week mounted a garmin. But I'm getting ready to head out on my bike for the weekend. I'll post some pictures with a how I did it next week. Steve -
I wake up this morning you hear of you and Lowell. Not a good start to my day. I'll be thinking about you two today while I'm riding. Don, I'm very sorry to hear of your what is happening now to your eye. Yikes, how could a needle in the eye (or 4) possibly feel good? You take care of yourself, and I know that you will. Steve

It always takes longer to heal than to hurt yourself. Ain't that the truth. Healing up always takes too long, but like you say, you still have all of the pieces, and that's a good thing. Hope ya heal up good, Steve

Wisconsin maintanence day is ON-July 31st in Sauk City
eagleeye replied to eagleeye's topic in Watering Hole
Well, Bubber left about a half hour ago, he was the last one to leave but stuck around to help me clean up and get the boat and stuff back in the garage. It seemed like a good turnout. I think there were about 16 bikes or so here After the last two days it's pretty quiet around here. But I'd just like to thank everyone who came for making it a great weekend with some good friends. I'd like to thank Flyinfool and FJR for spending a lot of time wiring my new gps and driving lights, and adding a fuse panel and ground panel. It's a thing of beauty. But I do feel bad that Jeff didn't get done to his bike what he wanted. Too busy helping other people-What a guy! and those polish sausage? WOW Ride safe, Steve -

I'm thinking that there is a good chance:thumbsup2: Jeff, just hop on 94to90to19to12 and your'e here. Bubber, we'll be watchin for ya. might even have a cold one waiting. Steve -
Yup, you got the wrong tire. You need to talk to who you bought it from. But even then, the 404WWW does NOT look like that picture. The tire in the picture looks like a gangster tire. Good luck, Steve

Randy, Thanks for the screw sizes. See you all tomorrow. Steve -
You'll save lots of grief and be much happier. Mounts are cheap, and so are power cords. Steve

I don't know if he is getting a new gasket and screws with the stator, but I'll ask him. I do have an impact driver though. Thanks for the info. Are you going to be here on Sat? Steve -

Talked with Yooper today, and he had a stator ordered to be shipped to my place, but they screwed the order up and it won't be here till probably Mon. (he's going to wait till it comes before heading home) but he needs to remove his stator, so when the new one comes he can put it in. Not sure if a puller is needed or not. Just a heads up for those of you who know. See you all soon, Steve
