    Good luck getting a room at this point that you do not have to pay an arm and a leg for. I go to the rally every 2 years. There is a place outside of town called greenland that has camping and a mini rally (brian is a very nice guy). This rally is rapidly becoming as popular as Sturgis. We are taking 14 bikes down Laborday weekend to Harrison so we can do a bunch of the riding they have available in Arkansas. BBBQ isnt a great opportunity to mix riding and rallying and take full advantage of both.

    Why buy a new one when you can get a low mileage used one that still has warrenty for a bunch less. they have a 5 year warranty so if you got a hold over or 08 and newer you will have warranty left. same bike since 1999 no difference.

    Is that the thing that goes into your hitch and your front will locks in but your back wheel is on the road? If so No way in heck!!!

    A friend of mine had this happen on his 08 it was a relatively warm day and he had a full leather jacket that he stuffed down into the saddlebag. Once it was down there it expanded forcing the lid up and jamming the lock. He took it home and was headed for the shop the next day and thought to give it one last try and it came open. We agreed that it had to do with expansion and contraction and that when it cooled down he was able to open. Sounded good may have just been pure luck!

    Have you considered the training wheel style option? Remember a straight axle is going to be a much rougher ride than independent. If you are handy enough to build your own try to buy the pre-built trike kit and install it yourself.

    Carbon one has a set and I believe Diamond R makes then as well

    I put Dyno Don onto a product called plasti-fix and as far as I know he was very happy with the results. he may chime in a t some point

    This kind of incident is a good argument for banning the Modulating headlight. I am not a fan, but to each their own. The intent is safety for everyone involved and when it becomes a potential hazard for anyone, the appropriateness of it needs to be considered.

    Orlin thanks so much for hosting this was Di and I first Venture Rider Event and believe it or not I think we look forward to the next adventure. Here are a few memories to share! Rick has a very interesting story I am sure he will share soon.

    I guess the question back at you is why is your first question on this board about something that really is none of your business? why is the grass green? why is the sky blue? who cares is just is!!! I have spent money in many places as a motorcycle owner and non have met the value of what this website is. Look at it this way it is a way to keep the riff raff out!!!! If you would like to join We would love to have you, if not delete your post and fade away!!!

    Go to your local auto parts store and get a sheep skin cover for a car seat and cut to size. Or if you are not far from an Ikea they have them. Some leathers stores have them as well. good luck!!!

    I just talked to rick and placed my order for the flanders bar complete kit. Rick shared with me that in his discussions with Flanders they would do another order but would not guarantee him they would make them again. So if nothing else you should order the bars and get the rest later.

    HellI just talked to Buckeye performance and they told me a minimum of 4 weeks and they are considering discontinueing the line. He said he will not be keeping them in stock as they are not selling as well as in the past, but will order them as needed. So I will be placing and order and if you have been thinking about it now is the time. The whole package with ss lines, bar end kit, slip over grips, bars, and all necessary cables is $582.00. You can save $40 by not going with the SS lines.

    I hate to say it but bottom line you did not do your homework before purchase, had you one of two things would have happened you would have purchased from M-S.com with a price match or gone to another vendor. I dont think it is fair to this business or any other business to badmouth them on a national forum for a mistake that you made.

    I have had good luck with them as well and as long as you state when you are ordering and they can Verify the price they will honor it. To come back after purchase and ask for a price match that they cannot verify was in effect the day you purchased it is asking a little much.
